Dreams that have come true

I was wondering if any of you here has ever had a dream of an event or a series of events that actually came true, after you dreamed it, that you remember? I don't mean like a deja vu, but an actual premonition dream? I think these kinds of dreams are very rare and I would be surprised and quite interested if any of you have.

I've never had any dreams like this, though there have been some dreams that I would have liked to come true! Sadly, will power alone didn't seem to make this the case.

I used to have dreams like this but not for a long time. When I was younger, I think I was more in tune with some of the hidden powers and planes. I would have dreams that would then take place in a week or two but they were never very earth shaking dreams. Simple things like someone falling down or who was going to end up as a couple. I was still in school then so I think they were very immature dreams.

Thanks for sharing your experiences Serenity. That's quite fascinating. Were you perhaps a little psychic as a child in other areas as well, or did it only apply to your dreams?

I have been experiences preminitions since i was a child although coming from a catholic family in rural Ireland i never got to develop this ability and be more aware of the signs but since 2002 my family experienced a tripple death which i seen in a dream or vision two weeks prior since this i have become more receptive in recognising the signs and im always trying to develop this through meditation etc... so my advise what may seem to you as maybe a 'de ja vu', give it some thought it might also be someone trying to tell you something!!

Hi blue, yes that is very enlightening, thanks for sharing! I get glimpses of deja vu's but they are not premonitions of the future but rather a repeat of the present moment. But the kind of visions that you are talking about sound to me like the real deal. I think that learning to become more receptive to your ability is a good thing to do - as long as you can handle it all and it doesn't give you unnecessary stress!

I starting watching my dreams when a I told a co-worker that I dream of her and her son painting the basement "hawthore yellow". She was amazed because the night before she was at her sons house and he was redoing his basement in hawthorne yellow. Since then I have been watching my dreams more closely. From my experience my dreams are very cryptic and it is almost a puzzle to figure them out. I had one dream of wolves(means death) which had dates(month/year) in it and in the same dream a tree fell on my house(impact to me). My step father died on that month and year and it was a big impact on my life. I had another dream of a tree(roots means family) crushing an old neibors house(fallin on house means impact to that family) , I found out several months after the dream their daughter died tragically. So, in time I am seeing conections but from my experience it isn't always very clear as to what they mean but if you pay attention and watch for patterns it can help.

Hi Elit, Im really pleased to have met you all..its great i have just joined and feel its great to share our experences. I have been always a 'sensitive' maybe more so as a child because i think now rather than take what I see and believe i now think i complicate it by studying the message to much and i think I make the message more cryptic. I could be in a house for the first time and i may feel or even sometimes hear a presence or sometime i get like what i could describe as a snapshot of how the house looked in another time. Im just going to say this PWC I think this is for you or maybe your friend that has done the basement Yellow as im seeing a what i feeling drawn theres a woman laughing and im seeing yellow i feel this may be its strange i get the feeling its maybe grandmother i been told of shown anniversary thats coming up 'M' passed with some restriction to the chest I feel this is not long ago in june/july I feel not from heart attack but from something which maybe connected with the lung as im been giving the feeling of finding it hard to breathe. she wants to say she see's the boy she sees the boy and that she looks over him!! and just to say she is ok but not sure about the yellow the room is to shaded but is laughing about it....seems a very loving woman loves life and fun she thinks it should be done plain white to brighten up there is also something about february - saying il be there im been shown roses expressing love. I am sorry to leave this but i got the feeling i had to say this and so just wanted to pass this on I keep getting a voice saying to sort the railing. thats it! Just had to to pass this on hope you can understand this! but felt you should know....

Wow...That was amazing. THe "M" that past is an Aunt that I was very close to. The aniversery is the death of my stepfather(dream i talked about) which is in a few weeks....funny about the yellow...the night before my stepfather died...I had a dream about yellow flowers and recieved an email that yellow is happiness. My stepfather was the happiest person I ever met. M passed from lung cancer and she loved to have fun but it was not recent. Currently my bedroom(shaded) is in the process of removing the wallpaper and I was thinking about yellow. M never liked any colors on walls and the suggest of white brigtening up the room sounded like something she would say. I am not sure what is going to happen in February did you get a sense of what that was?..
