Odd dream. Hawk?

I was in a field where I grew up. There was a wild hawk perched on a branch sort of on the side of the field by the woods about 10 feet up. It saw me but didn't move as I approached. We observed each other for a brief minute.. then I lept up, grabbed the hawk and snapped its neck with my hands. I then began plucking the feathers, but instantly felt remorse for killing the bird.

It was such a bizarre dream. Any insight as to what this could possibly mean?

Not sure of the dream meaning but the hawk is a "messenger" from the spirit world.
With that in mind does the fact that you killed him may mean anything to you?

birds of prey symbolise power, in high places ie governors, chiefs rulers etc. possibly a tyrant or despotic ruler.

acquiring or owning one means you will acquire assets or estates.

dnt know if killing it comes under the same category i assume it does. usually killing an animal means you will gain victory over whoever it represents. Not sure in this case tho.

i terms of other birds feathering them means doing so in a deceptive way.

basicaally, you gonna be involved with powerful people, and theres gonna be some deception.

but you gonna benefit big time.

Not completely sure of any of the accepted interpretations but what I thought of when I read through was you were trying to ignore or "kill" your spirit side or the things they may be trying to tell you.
