Question i need help please

Hi everyone! I am in desprite need of help. Every night I have the same reoccuring experience and it is making it so that I am exhausted. I "dream" that I am awake - and actually I feel as though I am. I am lying in bed and looking out my window. I see a group of faceless men under the tree in my front yard. I can see the glow of cell phones like they are talking on them and then they starting climbing the tree (only one or two). I get so scared I jump out and wake my dog (he's a mastiff) so that he can go outside and get the "bad guys". Now I really am doing these actions, it is no longer a dream but I can't convince myself that things aren't going on outside. Once the dog is outside I realize that no one is there. Put the dog back, go to the bathroom and get a drink. I lay back down and I can see the men outside again. I force myself to roll over and not look out the window and go back to a restless sleep, but every once and a qhile through out the night I see them out there again. I need to make this stop. I can't take it much any more. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Please feel free to leave a post here or email me @ chipmunk13166@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance for your help.

All I can think of to help you out is share some knowledge that I have and hope that it
helps you to better understand what is happening to you. First, there are dreams called Lucid dreams and I copied some info for you to read about. It is a very normal experience but not one I have ever had the pleasure.
Lucid dream

A lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress, also known as a conscious dream. When the dreamer is lucid, he or she can actively participate in the dream environment without any of the limitations that otherwise would feel natural to persons who incorrectly believe they are in the "real" waking world. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.[1]
A lucid dream can begin in one of two ways. A dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD) starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes that he or she is dreaming, while a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state with no apparent lapse in consciousness.

Secondly, faceless dreams are also common. See below from Dreamoods.com

Faceless
To see a faceless figure or person in your dream, indicates that you are still searching for your own identity and finding out who you are. Perhaps you are unsure of how to read people and their emotions. And therefore are expressing a desire to know and understand these people in a deeper level.

Finally, It’s all good..don’t worry yourself too much. You will work it out and you are not alone
