Dreaming of Work

I've started having a recurrent dream about work and its really bothering me. It feels like I never leave work, because my brain is literally always working.

Am I nuts?! And how do I manage to switch off because right now it is exhausting.

Re: Dreaming of Work

I feel your pain, believe me. I dream of work whenever I get too stressed out because of something going on at work or when I really need some time off. Is there a person or situation at work right now that is causing a lot of stress to you? Alternatively, stress can be external as well if someone is complaining that you work too much or if you are worried about being laid off.

Spend some time to think about whether there is something causing this. If you can't think of anything, try to take a few days off and get a break from work. Sometimes that's all it takes.

Re: Dreaming of Work

I have noticed when I dream about work most times it means I am working too much or stressing over work too much. I could lay down at the end of a double shift and still dream about hating my work. I prefer to avoid that at all costs as my work brings me closer to new people all the time which I love.
