To those who are religious, would the devil try to send me messages through dreams?

I once had a "dream vision" of the devil as well. He was a young, fit man with red skin, horns on his head and hoofed feet. He was sitting cross-legged on a "throne" and had the pentagram on his chest. I also saw him from a few different angles. He was surrounded by darkness. I then saw a woman in the night sky surrounded by stars. She was very voluptuous with long blonde hair. She seemed to be cradled in the sky (on her back in a fetal position). She seemed to be in contrast with the devil. I was reading Joseph Campbell's book, "The Hero With a Thousand Faces" at the time. It seemed to have unlocked a lot of things within me.

I don't really know why when I read your original post on this tread the 'ring-pass-not' concept came to mind other than it was another way of saying what you were thinking when you wrote that first post. But at any rate.....it did come to my mind. AND...yes I was taking a concept that was originally stated about galactic and universal systems and compaing it to our own individual awakeing process........the microcosm and the macrocosm.........as above so below.......lol


Personally I think you and I think a lot alike we have simple taken different paths to our awakening on our way home so our terminology tends to be a bit different is all....??

Hi Essence,
I wasn't thinking you disagreed at all, I was just expressing excitement that the Ring-pass-not concept you mentioned is exactly what I was saying but in another way.
I agree, we seemed to be tuned in to the same station. My problem, which I have witnessed before (not in the forum) is I find it hard to say (type) what I mean and it may not always read as I feel. So always assume the best when you read a response of mine.

Hello Essence and James, I have never heard of the ring pass-not but it sounds interesting so I'm going to look It up on the net when I've finished writing this.The only dreams I have now are peaceful, but not long back I had a dream where some human like creatures with distorted faces were mocking and surrounded me in threating ways. This is going to sound weird, but I gently held and touched their faces and they all disappered instantly! lol... love and peace to you.........kak....

That doesn't sound wierd at all to me and in fact it makes perfect sense.
The more we surrender to all that is and embrace whatever that brings to us whether we perceive it as positive or negative, it will bring growth. It's all good!

The devil is a character of mythological content. Many ideas and influences have come to bear on this particular character. Seeing him in red - probably caped and horned? Did he carry a pitchfork?

The point is....we need to eliminate our fears of such mythological characters that have become a part of our culture and beliefs.

Dreams are mostly about our unresolved emotions trying to get into the conscious state through the symbols. We need to see our sleep time in this respect and use the symbols to define events that are happening in our conscious life and use it for solutions. Believe me that which we fear can give us real insight into our problems and aid our journey to solutions.
