Reacting in your dream

I dreamt I was being chased and when I looked up the meaning, it said something about asking your chaser in your dream why he is chasing you. Is this possible to act out in a dream, to conciously ask a question?

Yes, it is possible. It is called Lucid Dreaming. It takes a bit of practice, but it is possible.

I do this all the time in my dreams, but I did not know there was an actual name for it. Honestly, I thought it was a normal part of dreaming that everyone does.

Indeed, lucid dreaming is a very useful skill to develop, but one that I am sure requires a great deal of work to perfect. Its not something that I have managed to achieve, unfortunately.

I would love to be able to try it but it seems like something hard to do. Although I think it would help answer a lot of our questions as to why we are having that dream. Interesting....
