Really Crazy Dreams

I've always had rather odd dreams since I was a kid, and I've kept a dream journal since I could write well enough. I hoped it would help me make sense of them, but it really only seems to illustrate how crazy they are. Is it possible to have dreams that really are just a rehashed blend of your life and nothing more meaningful?
