dream of the death of a friend

Recently a very close friend and I are no longer talking because I yelled at him and an apology will not help, I tried, now he just avoids looking or talking in my direction, we have to see each other on a daily basis, for the most part

...anyway, I had a dream where he died violently (i believe by gun) infront of me and I was deeply upset. I woke up in a sweat and then fell back asleep to the same scene and found that he that he wasn't actually dead, he opened his eyes and smiled at me. Any thoughts?

My only advice is to make amends as soon as you possibly can. Work hard at this, because if the unspeakable should happen, just imagine how bad you will feel.
