All for One or One for All

One, two, three, Infinity
Is a grain of sand a beach ?
Is a drop of water an ocean ?

No
And yes

There can be no beach without a grain of sand,
And there can be no ocean without a drop of water.

The larger can not exist without the smaller.

Many would think (and do think) the beach is greater than the grain of sand. And yet the beach cannot exist without the grain of sand.

So which is greater ?

Neither – for both require each other. The grain of sand comes from the beach and the beach is made of grains of sand.

So, where does this lead or why was it thought ?

There exists both the concept of being part of the larger and having a unique and separate personal existence.

Existence is not one or the other.

It is both.

Or is it? The question:

Are we All in One ?
Are we One in All ?
Both ?
Neither ?
-all part

Re: All for One or One for All

We are all a part of the whole I believe, and the sum of the parts is so much greater than we are! The human race is an amazing thing and together we are capable of so much.
