Drugs and AddictionThe use of drugs takes its place as a companion of alcohol when the spiritual development of man is considered. Exploring the widespread use of drugs in society today, we find that the need for their use revolves around three factors:
1) the relief of pain; 2) boredom; and 3) the hope of experiencing spiritual revelation. In the Cosmo-Conception, the purpose of life is not happiness but experience. In our struggle for what we consider to be the best of the material side of life, we let our desires lead us into paths of pleasure, ease, and comfort. Thus we often fail to fulfill the purpose of our existence, namely, to gain experience. When we abuse our bodies we incur pain, Nature's way of telling us that misuse has gone far enough and that it is time to reverse the conditions which have resulted in our discomfort. Many of us ignore Nature's warning and, preferring the comfortable way out, resort to the use of drugs. The tragedy is that, being unwilling to make an honest attempt to search for and correct the causes we do not stop here. We accept the temporary relief afforded and permit our bodies to build up a greater accumulation of toxins. Thus we create a condition which requires more frequent use of drugs until we are forced into action by a highly toxic and drug-oriented vehicle, one which has little chance of making spiritual growth in this life. It requires a pure and wholesome physical body and mind to give our spiritual vehicle the discipline needed as a preparation for the work ahead. Only the individual himself can bring about the conditions which will assure him of continued growth. He must, therefore, refrain from the use of drugs or any other substance which will interfere with the work of the brain. |

Re: Drugs and AddictionI agree Susan. There are many who have gotten lost along the pathway and are stuck in the drug cycle. They start out as doing this as an escape and the escape finally gets them in a cyclical mode and they either don't want to or can't break it. They will not advance spiritually if they don't break that cycle.

Re: Drugs and AddictionI find myself troubled with a family member who had started out this way but it has been years since anything helped the poor soul. I am lost with what to try next since we have tried so many things already, nothing has seemed to help and her? She thinks of it as a failure towards her directly.

Re: Drugs and AddictionAre you speaking of any drugs (street or Rx), are you speaking of only drugs used during the time of trying to better yourself in your own path? Are you speaking of only drugs (what about alcohol). All could be considered drugs to the mind and body.

Re: Drugs and AddictionThis is a highly explosive subject you have detenated and the series used as direction and the archetechural engineering approach taken doesn`t appear to have been concluded without some kind of involvement in abuse of some kind before hypnotherapy was chosen as a natural combatant of experiencial growth.
If it is so said that we are here for the experiences and adding to this theory that to find and walk the fine line of the life and death thread and continue growth instead of regrowth a diversity of natural and developed has to be constantly a given challenge until there is no more challenge. In so saying this, death as commonly known should be overcome.I am quite confident in saying that we do have this capability but it is a karma affair. If one does not know of the limits and be guided hypnosis can also become an addiction and be a weakness and not a strength.Hypnosis and any form of medicine natural or chemically developed is a personal choice of spiritual and physical development. What works for one does not always work the same for others sadly said but truthfully known.Depending on what level each soul is at and what level it is destined to achieve and maintain or be a continual traveller and explorer, the giving and receiving of advice of what one should experience and what one shouldn`t is what I said earlier,a very highly explosive topic. Sounds like you have a lot of experience and I don`t know if you consider that a good thing or a bad thing. You sound as if you are an old soul that is now in a youthful body.Hypnosis probably didn`t get you to your intellectual level you are now at but it probably will help you achieve a balance but there is a lot more to your secrets of maintaining a balance than hypnosis, care to share those as well? ![]() Would love to know of your complimentary/complementary health regime. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: Drugs and AddictionThank you colincleanse:Since I don`t have my large colin normal natural for Joe is now in sort of a similar as an insulin pump affair. In most of our mainstream health care does not recognize this much difference and life and death is quite a battle in our health system or it has been so far.I had to learn to be better than most doctors just to survive and so have many others. All the money being pumped into health care main stream benefits corporate sponsorship more than it does actual health itself. Can this be proven?Very easily, especially cancer and most of the incurables today that aren`t supposed to be cureable.
Common sence, once it is achieved speaks that the immune system is the only system that needs attention.Big and little to learn more. ![]() ![]() |
