Money is important to me for paying my bills and feeding my family, but it is not what makes me most happy. There are different times throughout the year when we have more money than the rest of the year. However, I do not find myself any happier other than it allows me to pay bills easier. To me, there is just as much joy when I am working hard to pay something off early and achieve my goals. What's most important to me is the health of my loved ones. One of my greatest joys is hearing my hubby and children laughing together and that doesn't require money at all.
Money is important in the sense that it is a necessity in this day and age - my hubby and I are nowhere close to being wealthy by any means - so it would be nice to have enough money to get out of debt, put aside for retirement, do some traveling, and be able to help my kids get through college ... and help others whenever we would like to. Enough money for those things - but not so much that we forget Who blessed us!
As of the last few weeks money has taken on a huge importance to me. I have been hit with some large bills-currently totally several months income, and there will be more to come.
Additionally I need a huge sum so that we can emigrate to another country, and have limited time to do so. I have secured another job to try to achieve this, so yes it is rather a pressing matter right now.
Normally, it's not such a big deal, we tend to live very frugally.
When talking about money, always balance the importance of it by the eternal goals it can help you attain. Remember to comment that money is only a tool. The motivations behind getting money is to help you achieve your dreams and visions in life. So perhaps it is also a good time for you to share your view on life, your view on how to motivate yourself towards your goals in life and how you manage to overcome obstacles.

agreed money is a tool. a very very important tool. without it many die. so i would say, in this life as we know and live it now, it is one of the most important tools to have.
Greetings,
I wholeheartedly agree; money is a tool. But beyond the use and definition of it as a tool, money is a form of energy and the act of passing money from one individuals hand to that of another individual is an act of exchanging energy.
We are energetic beings composed of coalesced bits of energy held together in particular forms of matter. We constantly exchange energy with others and other forms of life (energy) whether we are conscious of it or not. Even as I type this reply there is another thread on this forum discussing just such, and how to control the subconscious reading of energy (mostly of others being accessed by us uncontrolled) at a conscious level.
I personally see the fact that the vast majority of money in the world is controlled by a very small population of very powerful humans and how that affects the rest of the world, i.e. keeping most people in positions of mere survival having to use what small amounts of energy they are doled out by those is control, as a microcosm of the macrocosm. The fact that this is coming to the surface of the planetary human mind in a multitude of ways that say, “this is no longer acceptable” is a good sign that humankind is awakening en-masse.
Just my thoughts on the power and right use of money.
Love, Light and Blessings,
Namaste
