I wonder....is anyone ever truly happy all the time? We are an enquiring lot - human beings - so that causes some questioning and discontent til we find our answers.
Perhaps the word is only subjective - many people are truly happy by constantly buying new things, whilst others just need wisdom.
Happiness is overrated. Ask a village-elder perhaps?
Freud would say happiness resides in the 'Id'.
Contentment is preferable.
Happiness means different things to different people thats for sure. I have happy moments.....But to be truley happy in a world where so much suffering happens........................
I'm pretty sure that people used to be happier, and also less informed about events in all parts of the world...there is a negative side to global oneness concerning the media.
Usually the outrageous or horrific news stories, either true or 'creatively-true' - are more in demand because of their shock value.
Offering that negativity a place in one's psyche is a choice some people make often without realising the effect it has on our ascension.
Hi...ownership of major media outlets are in the hands of a few. The internet on the other hand is the voice of the people. This website is a good example. This is where a chunk of the evolution to oneness is occuring. See CommonPassion.org Joseph, the Director has Global Concordance calls with a shared intent. He averages between 700,000 and 2,000,000 per call. Fewer people watch regular media every day....it does have some value in shwing the lies and errors of our leaders for all to see....there are fewer secrets than ever before, and when they happen they tend to come to the surface quicker and quicker. I am not empty inside. I used to be empty when i was unsure of the way forward, but when i became a Muslim and started to practise islam my emptiness disapeared.
I do get stressed about money and when i was not married- about getting married, but yet never empty inside.
Re: the regular media TV channels - as much as the internet has affected our conciousness, the government's main tool of influence has affected our subconcious much more. Political satire can be pretty manipulative.

I might agree that the mainstream media (newspapers, TV, Radio) news is very focused. As a global society we are hearing how different the reports of major world events comes out in different countries. Of this there is no doubt.
But to Assume that the computer media is better is to be blind to its faults. The internet has NO rules to go by (at least the mainstream is governed by some form of ethics if nothing else) and has been known to be a gossip centre where reputations are ruined at the drop of a word. Believe me it is not all its cracked up to be. Truth is a long way away on the internet. It is not to be trusted.
Aha, perhaps a little clarification is in order. The internet is so wide open that DISCERNMENT is required to ferret out the truth. I urge you to check CommonPaasion.org as an example. Thank you for listening. Don in Vero Beach, Fl.

The media most definitly has an ugly way of getting into our souls and changing our views, but it is important to remember to always be true to yourself, even when others are trying to tell you different.
