I would want to ask him a question. The thing I would like to know if it was part of the plan that he is many different images and ideas to many different people. Being that many of the many of the ideas of religions are similar to different beliefs.
I found your question very interesting, mainly, because of the way you stated it. When I was a teenager, I became a Christian and I still practice the Christian faith. I can remember during my prayer time sitting on my bed and imagining Jesus sitting at the foot of it with me. I found it easier to speak to Jesus as opposed to God because my earthly father was not easily approachable and the Bible states, "For both He who sanctifies (Jesus) and those who are being sanctified (believers) are all of one and He is not ashamed to call them brothers." (Hebrew 2:11) I always wanted a big brother. As the oldest child in my family my siblings always came to me with questions. I wanted someone I could go to.
I think the first thing I would say is, "Sorry it's been so long since we've met this way."

I love it when people ask me this question... If i met god the first thing I would ask him is why he hates most people and is letting so many good people suffer? If he is all mighty and can do anything then why does he let so many people die, people who have done nothing to harm anyone. In church the pope comes up with some lies saying they died for a reason.... what reason could there really be for genocide? Bombings? Im sure if you ask " god" he will give you the answer to why he lets so much suffering and death happen on this world he " created".

But Father, These spoiled children have made the error of not heedimg Thee, but instead continu to elect leaders! Who continue to make human errors. This has filled the world with Terrorism; for they heeded Thee not!
Years ago, I threw my bible into the rubbish bin and said that I would have a thing or two to say to God. I use to hold God responsible for all the sufferings of the world. Since then, I have come to realize that it is in the absence of God, with-in mankind's heart, which causes people to do such harm to themselves and each other. 'Love is the quality of one's own heart and has nothing to do with another.' For me, this truth, changed my whole perception of expectations. I can not hold God or others responsible for what I feel.
Now I say sorry, please forgive me for being so cowardly and inconsistent with trusting in the power of love. In saying this I already know I am forgiven. I can no longer point my finger at another when I have been no better. It is also, in our imperfections that we are one. I know we all do our best with what we have experienced and come to know.
