What happens 2012? Share your thoughts!

I can see there being a change at that time, but I am not sure how significant it will be. During the other changes in cycles in the Mayan calender, did things change then? Or was it just a gradual evolution of thought, nothing stark and sudden?

Not really sure how I am feeling about this year coming up myself. I have heard so many stories but I dont see enough to back some of them up, still reading on things and will have to come back to this after some more research.

I think that there will be a new way of thinking after the year 2012, but I don't think it will be evident to us until much later, even after our generation is long gone. That's why I voted for the last two options.

Not sure of the coming year, so what can we expect about 2012. I can just say that my little one would be 4 yr old by then.

What a sweet thought. I guess my little ones will be 12 and 11. I expect more people in the US to be living in the city in condos rather than houses in the suburbs. Gas prices will at least double from what they are now. Hybrid cars will become common place.

On a global scale, I just don't know. I'm here to learn about the rest of the world.

I think things will just go on as they are, just a little adapted. People have driven 30 billion less miles since gas prices raised. Or the world comes to a crash and we all fight for gas and it gets all Mad Max. I am rooting for option one.

I think the world will keep turning as it always has. Economically, I am sure prices will continue increasing and car makers will be pushing hybrids more and more. Hopefully gas prices won't quite be doubled, but I am fearful they may be.

I think the answer to that is the same as the answer to another question:
"Why does the Mayan calender end in 2012"?
....and why does the materialistic age end in 2012, and the new spiritual age begin?

Maybe they meant more personally than globally?

If that's the case, I know the answer - it's when I cease living in the material world and go into the spiritual world...i.e.-when my body dies.

There's a series of videos on Youtube called '2012-be prepared' that seem to hold some truth.

NASA refuses to confirm or deny the existence of Nibiru's 3,600 eliptical orbit around our sun....which is supposed to be at it's closest point to Earth in 2012. A planet eight-times the size of Earth passing by would cause tsunamis about a mile high wouldn't it?

I am all about opinion due to experience. For that reason I feel that 2012 may be much different for everyone. From what I have formulated based on my research, I strongly feel that people who share such opinions as of those of David Wilcock, are in line with the changes which are yet to come. The whole notion of 2012 and the Mayan calendar are very intruiging subjects and do require a fair bit of research and attention.
