As far as considering Amma and Bhagavan as God or Parents, there is no need to worry at all. Bhagavan says, "I am not a teacher, I am only a technician." He doesn't claim even the status of a teacher, let alone the image of God. But while during one of His sessions with a group of whichI too was a member, He discussed the three ways in which God can be thought of or conceived of.
