Re: What do you do when you feel overwhelmed?


I try very hard not to allow myself to reach a state of being overwhelmed, and I can honestly say I am getting better at it than I used to be. Like anything else, practice makes perfect.....LOL

For me, when I begin to feel out of balance I begin to breath deeply, bringing in fresh clean, calm energy and exhaling the negative energy. For me this works especially well in public places. I can do this usually without anyone else ever even realizing it.

Meditation is what I do to keep myself in balance. Sometimes I get only a few seconds to do this, and other times I get an hour and then other times I get a day. Just all depends on what physical life is presenting to me at the time.

We all have our own way of coping. These are just a couple of mine.
I'm also very big on using stones and crystals, and flower essences, aromatherapy, etc. and spending time in nature connecting to Gaia.
