Dream Dictionary - Fortune-telling
Fortune-telling - To dream of telling, or having your fortune told, it dicates that you are deliberating over some vexed affair, and you should use much caution in giving consent to its consummation. For a young woman, this portends a choice between two rivals. She will be worried to find out the standing of one in business and social circles. To dream that she is engaged to a fortune-teller, denotes that she has gone through the forest and picked the proverbial stick. She should be self-reliant, or poverty will attend her marriage.

 | | | Fortune Telling Dictionary: Apple Divination - The Symbolism of
ApplesWe
have all heard and used the expression, "An apple a day keeps the doctor
away." This expression is based on a very old superstition, and is one of
many associated with apples. You have probably also held an apple in one hand
and twisted the stem while reciting the alphabet to ascertain the initial of
that "special someone" - the apple of our eye. In The Scarlet
Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, we are moved by
the gracious and dignified austerity of Hester Prynne's declaration that
"A is for Apple." There is a very long tradition of prediction and divination
with apples. A great many of them, of course, are associated with love and
relationships.

 | | | Fortune Telling Dictionary: Confessions Of A PsychicPsychic Reading
The
Concise Oxford Dictionary defines a psychic as "a person susceptible to
psychic influence," and a clairvoyant as
having a "faculty of perceiving, as if by seeing what's happening or
exists out of sight; exceptional insight."
These terms define the new type of clairvoyant emerging in almost every city,
town or area around the world. No longer does the word "psychic"
bring forth an image of an old woman in a long dress or robe, ribbons streaming
from her hair, shaking a tambourine and saying, "Cross my palm with silver
and I'll tell your fortune," or the guru sitting with legs crossed on a
snow-capped mountain contemplating the meaning of life.

 | | | Fortune Telling Dictionary: Truth Unveiled in Seventh Heaven - about Namaz
The Prophet Muhammad started receiving revelations from Allah in 610 AD through an angel. When he began to propagate the divine message, the people of Mecca turned against him. In those testing times Khadijah, his wife, and Abu Talib, his uncle, were a great help to him, but shortly thereafter they both died. When the Meccans seemed to be on the verge of crushing Islam, the Prophet Muhammad had an extraordinary experience. This is known as al-Isra and al-Miraj or the Night Journey and the Ascension.

 | | | Fortune Telling Dictionary: Dream WorksIn the stillness of the night, when not a sound breaks the hushed silence, they timorously creep into your mind. Fragile, flittering forms—often more real than reality—seek you out from the deepest abyss of your soul and open for you a vista of visions—nonsensical, terrifying, fantastic—and sometimes, just sometimes, hauntingly beautiful. You wake up with a lump in your throat that threatens to cascade down your eyes, a lingering nostalgia for something near, yet eternity away. But weren't you closer to believing, even then, that somewhere, all that you saw was real; that, beyond the tangible truth of ticking time, you had lived one moment of timeless infinity? Perhaps that's the secret. The chance to glimpse beyond. Why else should we take a dream, those phantasms of the chaotic unconscious, so seriously? Read more here: » Meaning of Dreams: Dream Works |

By the time hip hop started taking off, Dr. York was already a prominent teacher of alternative black cultural knowledge, working extensively with young people. He was also an active musician and producer (played disco/r&b), with knowledge of the industry and access to studio equipment.
Doug E. Fresh and Afrika Bambaataa were among the old-schoolers who benefited from Doc’s guidance, according to the teacher ...

 | | | Fortune Telling Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Yeti - HistoryFor hundreds of years, natives in the Himalays have been telling stories about a humanoid monster that wanders around the mountain range. However, occasional reports of an ape-like creature in the Himalayas only began filtering to the west in the 1800s, mainly by British explorers [1].
In 1832, Journal of the Asiatic society of Bengal published the account of B. H. Hodgson, who wrote that while trekking in northern Nepal, his native guides spotted a tall, bipedal creature covered with long dark hair, then fled in fear. Hodgson did not see the creature, bu ...
