On that day, Jordan Pena reported a close encounter of the first kind when he saw "an enormous circular object with three legs and, on its underside, a curious symbol: three vertical lines joined by a horizontal bar. The two exterior lines curved outward at the edges, which made the pictogram resemble the alchemical sign for ...

New Age
Spirituality Dictionary on Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) Unidentified flying objector spacecraft with no known human-made origin; thought to be piloted by intelligent beings from outer space or another dimension; flying saucer. The term is used generally for all reported sightings of unidentified objects in the sky. More specifically, the term UFO refers to allegedly sighted “flying saucers” or other alien spacecraft. UFO beliefs can range between innocuous speculation that extraterrestrial beings may have visited Earth to quasi-religious devotion to the alleged presence and teachings of aliens. Often these beings are believed to be non-physical (spiritual) entities who are communicating telepathically (psychically) with contactees. | | | | Flying Saucer: Encyclopedia II - Unidentified flying object - Typical reported characteristics of UFOsThe number of different shapes, sizes, and configurations of claimed UFOs has been large, with descriptions of chevrons, equilateral triangles, spheres, domes, diamonds, shapeless black masses, eggs, and cylinders. Skeptics argue this diversity of shapes, size and configurations points to a socio-psychological explanation. Other researchers argue that the large diversity of UFO shapes points to a possible paraphysical origin. Still others argue that there is a large diversity in the shapes and sizes of human flying craft, reflecting differen ...

Ronald Reagan reported seeing two UFOs, one from an airplane around 1974 when Governor of California. The pilot corroborated the sighting. As President, Reagan publicly spoke about the world uniting against a hypothetical alien threat on three different occasions. | | | | Flying Saucer: Encyclopedia II - Unidentified flying object - Conspiracy theoriesUFOs are sometimes claimed to be part of an elaborate UFO conspiracy theory in which the government is said to be intentionally covering up the existence of aliens, or sometimes collaborating with them. There are many versions of this story; some are exclusive, while others overlap with various other conspiracy theories.
