As with the feng shui for a house, the feng
shui for an office similarly involves many factors, from the owner's energies,
the building's location, interior layout, site, local and global economics and
so forth - 60 factors in all. The key points are that the business type and its
location matches the owner's frequencies and ideally, everyone in an office
should be placed where they can naturally work to their full potential. The

Spiritual Dictionary on feng shui
feng shui: The science and study of the effect of environmental factors on living. Includes guidelines for determining the best location and direction of your home and workplace; where the rooms in your home should be to best facilitate energy flow; and how to create a garden that will bring positive energy and good luck into your home. Includes two major schools of thought. The Form School examines the shape of the land, the shape of your building, and even its direction in relation to the land around it. The Compass School is based on the pa-kua, an octagonal symbol surrounding the famous yin-yang. Each side is related to one of the eight trigrams from the I Ching, and is related to certain energies. If you are planning a house, you can put a pa-kua over the plans and determine which direction your home should face and the best way to arrange the rooms.

Alternative
Health Dictionary on Seicho-No-Ie
Seicho-No-Ie (SNI): Supradenominational truth movement founded in 1930 in Japan by Dr. Masaharu Taniguchi (b. 1893), author of The Role of Mind in Cancer (1965) and The Truth of Life, a series of twenty books. Spiritual healing is a major component of Seicho-No-Ie, which combines Christianity and Buddhism. In a nutshell, the principle of Seicho-No-Ie healing is that illness does not exist in Reality (the true spiritual world at the core of the phenomenal world) and that it is a false appearance. Seicho-No-Ie literally means House of Growth.

The laying of the foundation stone,
inauguration of the coustmetion of a house and occupation of a newly built
house are to be celebrated when the 'Vasthu goddess' (Goddess of the Earth) is
well awake. Laying the foundation for the construction of a house should not be
carried out when the goddess of Earth (Vaasthu goddess) is asleep. Those who

Buddhist - Buddhism Dictionary on Demons
Demons Evil influences which hinder cultivation. These can take an infinite number of forms, including evil beings or hallucinations. Disease and death, as well as the three poisons of greed, anger and delusion are also equated to demons, as they disturb the mind. The Nirvana Sutra lists four types of demon: i) greed, anger and delusion; ii) ii) the five skandas, or obstructions caused by physical and mental functions; iii) iii) death; iv) iv) the demon of the Sixth Heaven (Realm of Desire). The Self-Nature has been described in Mahayana sutras as a house full of gold and jewelry. To preserve the riches, i.e., to keep the mind calm, empty and still, we should shut the doors to the three thieves of greed, anger and delusion. Letting the mind wander opens the house to "demons," that is, hallucinations and harm. Thus, Zen practitioners are taught that, while in meditation, "Encountering demons, kill the demons, encountering Buddhas, kill the Buddhas." Both demons and Buddhas are mind-made, Mind-Only. For a detailed discussion of demons, see Master Thich Thien Tam, Buddhism of Wisdom and' Faith, sect. 51.

Spiritual - Theosophy
Dictionary on
Bel
Bel (Greek, Latin) Ba`al (Chaldean) (from Semitic ba`al chief, lord) Lord, chief; one of the supreme gods of the Chaldeo- or Assyro-Babylonian pantheon: the second of the triad composed of Anu, Bel, and Ea. Assyriologists have assumed that Bel was simply the title of a deity, which they have designated as En-lil (the mighty lord). In the division of the universe into heaven, earth, and water, Bel was considered as the lord of the land, and his temple at Nippur was called E-kur (the mountain house), just as Ea's was the watery house. There have been many Bels, which may be one of the reasons that in The Secret Doctrine Bel is made equivalent to the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury. As Bel or Ba`al means Lord, the title becomes applicable to any of the important celestial bodies. According to one account, the creation of the world and especially of mankind is ascribed to Bel. He is also called father of the gods; and his consort, Belit, is called mother of the gods. His eldest son in Sin, god of the Moon. Bel also brings about the deluge which destroys humanity, showing his dual aspect of evolver and destroyer. Bel has been associated with the Phoenician Baal, the supreme god of the Canaanites, conceived also as the protective power of generation and fertility, connected with the moon. His female counterpart, Ashtoreth (Astarte, Ishtar) was considered as the receptive goddess, also a lunar divinity. In later times the rites connected with these deities became degraded into licentious orgies; sacrifices were made, apparently even human sacrifices, but at one time Ba`al was worshiped as a sun god. His various names in the Old and New Testaments demonstrate the various aspects in which he was regarded. Thus in Exodus he was named Ba`al-Tsephon, the god of the crypt. He was likewise named Seth or Sheth, signifying a pillar (phallus); and it was owing to these associations that he was considered a hid god, similar to Ammon of Egypt. Among the Ammonites, a people of East Palestine, he was known as Moloch (the king); at Tyre he was called Melcarth. The worship of Ba`al was introduced into Israel under Ahab, his wife being a Phoenician princess. "Typhon, called Set, who was a great god in Egypt during the early dynasties, is an aspect of Baal and Ammon as also of Siva, Jehovah and other gods. Baal is the all-devouring Sun, in one sense, the fiery Moloch" (TG 47). As to the leaping of the prophets of Ba`al, mentioned in the Bible (1 Kings 18:26), Blavatsky writes: "It was simply a characteristic of the Sabean worship, for it denoted the motion of the planets round the sun. That the dance was a Bacchic frenzy is apparent. Sistra were used on the occasion" (IU 2:45). Bel is also the name for the sun with the Gauls.

From
perfectionism to perfectionFrom perfectionism to perfection
Everything
had to be perfect.
My perfect life was filled with homemaking, committee work and a
never-ending to-do list. Immaculately organized, the home I shared with my
husband and kids was lovely-but, as they could tell you, it was impossible to
relax in.
All I wanted was to be appreciated. All I accomplished was a
hectic lifestyle that no one understood. I cleaned the house every day except
weekends, going so far as to pick up lint off the carpet every time I climbed
the stairs. Potato chips were counted out equally for each of my children so no
one would feel shortchanged. For picnics, paper products had to be color-coded;
food had to be 100% nutritional, planned weeks ahead and prepared for days.
