 | | | Feng Shui House: Role of DestinyVastu Shastra: Role of
Destiny
All the
defects, blasphemy and curses by sages on the house site should be expiated by
performing suitable purification ceremonies and worships before one attempts to
start the construction work of a house on such a site. Maya, the celestial
architect, had explained the easy ways and means of identifying the nature of
the soil. According to Maya, the master of the house who is going to construct
the house should with his own hands dig out a square pit one cubit side and one
cubit depth at the eastern direction or at the middle of the site
(Brahmasthala).

 | | | Feng Shui House: Vasthu in The
VedasVasthu
in The Vedas
Each Veda has a
subsidiary: ayurveda (knowledge of life) for rgveda, dhanurveda (knowledge of
tools and weapon) for yajurveda, gandharvaveda (knowledge of arts) for samaveda
and sthapatyaveda (architecture) for atharvaveda. In addition, puranas,
nyayasastras, mimamsas and dharma sastras (smrtis) are also considered as
upangas. Sthapatyaveda which is the subsidiary of atharvaveda is the subject of
this discussion. Because it is the subsidiary of Veda, its authority is clear
and undisputed.

 | | | Feng Shui House: Dream WorksIn the stillness of the night, when not a sound breaks the hushed silence, they timorously creep into your mind. Fragile, flittering forms—often more real than reality—seek you out from the deepest abyss of your soul and open for you a vista of visions—nonsensical, terrifying, fantastic—and sometimes, just sometimes, hauntingly beautiful. You wake up with a lump in your throat that threatens to cascade down your eyes, a lingering nostalgia for something near, yet eternity away. But weren't you closer to believing, even then, that somewhere, all that you saw was real; that, beyond the tangible truth of ticking time, you had lived one moment of timeless infinity? Perhaps that's the secret. The chance to glimpse beyond. Why else should we take a dream, those phantasms of the chaotic unconscious, so seriously? Read more here: » Meaning of Dreams: Dream Works |

Vasthu? What
is Vasthu?
Human

controlled by all these nine planets. Dwelling place is known as GRAHA, and
this graha is under the rule of vasthu, the Omnipotent Devtha (Divine Lord of

Ayurveda Ayurvedic Dictionary on Vastu Shastra
Vastu Shastra Vastu Shastra is an ancient science energy flow throughout the house/office/factory that allows inflow of fresh air and natural light that promotes health, wealth, peace and happiness. The most ancient science of architecture that goes back to the Vedic ages, it is composed of specific rules and regulations, set down by sages of those times, that an architect / builder / owner was expected to religiously follow to avoid coming under negative or evil influences. Today, it is looked upon as a highly evolved, comprehensive building philosophy in which directions and shapes are the most vital aspects of designing. Right from the selection of site to correct slope of land down to the shape of the building, this oldest form of architecture covers nearly every aspect of construction. Not only for houses but temples, palaces, forts, offices...just about every possible form of construction. Often providing relief if not cures to physical or emotional problems simply by relocating an entrance, window or room. Some of the important points made therein are: - Directional Alignment
- Shape Of The Site
- Slope Of The Land Surface
- Impact of Gates At Various Locations
- Brahmasthan (Central Zone of the Building)
- The Staircase
- Inner Planning of a House
- Inner Planning of an Office
- Internal Planning of any Industrial Building

Taping SpiritsA
different approach is called for if you're trying to record ghosts as opposed
to spirits. Here, a ghost would be some kind of paranormal activity that is
obvious and external to the observer. If you live in a house where strange
things are always happening, or you know of a local house or area that is
reputed to be haunted, you might take your tape recorder, camera or camcorder
and set it up when you expect strange things to occur.
