Worry causes fear, anxiety, tension and stress. These emotions deplete energy and weaken the immune system. Worriers become sick and this is manifested in poor health, because of all the problems that are eating into their vitals. And worry is certainly not the same as constructive thinking; if it were, we would have found solutions to most of our problems.

| | | | Fear: Defense - The Illusion
of the EgoThe
Illusion of the Ego
Nothing
can be taken from you; you cannot lose who you are. You are indestructible and
eternal. You are a manifestation of God's light, an individual consciousness
just as others are, so what is there to struggle with? Only the perceived threat
of loss that the ego presents to us can bring us into fear, delusion and
defensiveness. When we understand that loss is impossible, we will not keep
falling into the same hole over and over again. We must eventually see the
distorted reality that the ego presents to us, and once again embrace love
unconditionally.

| | | | Fear: Pranayama TechniquesPranayama
is defined as breath control, but actually, Prana is energy, the type of energy
that is received from Kether or from the spiritual world. It is sometimes
defined as a white light that emanates from on high or that is surrounding us
at all times. Call it what you like, it is possible to energize our
electrochemical bodies by controlled breathing, and the Pranayama methods are
highly effective in attaining specific energy states.

ThoughtsOur past thoughts have created our current reality, and we
are each creating our futures with the thoughts we think right now, in the
present moment. Michael Curley expands upon this philosophy and tell us more
about the power of our thoughts to bring about change in our own lives and on a
global, even cosmic level.

| | | | | Fear: Forgiveness and Self-ForgivenessThe act of self-forgiveness changes the energy
and physical structures of your cells, and of your DNA. Guilt is a very
powerful and deadening emotion. Guilt in itself can, as it were, close down the
energy systems of your body, and thereby lessen, and in extreme cases, cut off
the flow of Divine Energy and Love to the body entirely. Because each and every
one of your cells has consciousness, they too can carry the essence and energy
of guilt within them that makes their energy denser.

| | | | Fear: The Secret of Success - The Law of Attraction
There is in Nature a great Law - the Law of Attraction - by the operations of which all things - from atoms to men - are attracted toward each other in the degree of the common affinity of common use. The reverse of this law - which is merely another manifestation of its power - is what is called Repulsion, which is but the other pole of Attraction, and by the operations of which things tend to repel each other in the degree that they are unlike, opposing, and of no use to each other. The Law of Attraction is Universal, on all the planes of life, from the physical to the spiritual. Its operations are uniform and constant, and we may take the phenomena of one plane and thereby study the phenomena of another plane, for the same rule applies in each case - the same Law is in operation in the same way.

| | | | Fear: Nothing's Impossible When God is Present - about Jamshedji Navroze
Today, as the vernal equinox bathes the universe in a golden glow and Spring dances in seen and unseen splendour, it is amply clear that once you are with God, everything's possible. Today is Jamshedji Navroze , the original new year. It is celebrated by Parsees today - as it was by the people of ancient Iran - with good reason. The day marks the birth of Creation and therefore, your birth and mine too. It also celebrates Prophet Zarathushtra's profound pronouncements, the beauty and truth of which I've gleaned with my own limited vision from the scriptures.

| | | | Fear: Loving
OurselvesMost of us on our healing path have become
very familiar with the admonition to "love ourselves." We may be
clear that our purpose is to bring more love into the world. Since how we
perceive and relate to "the world" is always a mirror of how we
perceive and relate to ourselves, our goal is really to bring more love into
ourselves. It is important to understand that, in terms of cause and effect, the
external world is a reflection (or an "effect") of our "internal
world: (our self), which is the opposite of how we naturally perceive things to
be.

| | | | Fear: Every One of Us is a Masked WonderWhat can a cartoon character-turned-Hollywood
superhero communicate to us about matters spiritual? Very little, or so I
thought until a colleague who saw Spider-Man2 remarked casually that the one
scene in the blockbuster that she found the most poignant was where the
superhero, exhausted after his exertions in holding a train back from hurtling
to disaster, was gently brought inside by the passengers.

| | | | | | Fear: When It's Time, Let Go
Death is an enigma. It is impossible to define life without death. Up to its very last link, life is a bio-chemical chain reaction. Once life is launched, like a bullet it must reach its final destination, which is death. Death is less frightening, however, when we concede that life attains maximum fullness only when it is guided by an ideal, by something for which we are willing to die if necessary. Whatever incites us to die also incites us to live with greater intensity.

| | | | Fear:
Effect of Thought on Health and the BodyDisease
and health, like circumstances, are rooted in thought. Sickly thoughts will
express themselves through a sickly body. Thoughts of fear have been known to
kill a man as speedily as a bullet, and they are continually killing thousands
of people just as surely though less rapidly. The people who live in fear of
disease are the people who get it. Anxiety quickly demoralizes the whole body,
and lays it open to the entrance of disease, while impure thoughts, even if not
physically indulged, will soon shatter the nervous system.

| | | | Fear: Emotions and the
key to emotional clarity.Emotions
Constructive
expression is the key to emotional clarity. Constructive means expressing
feelings in a way that does not harm the person they are expressed to. For
example, saying "I am angry", or "I am frustrated" to
someone is different than acting out the anger or frustration. Finding the
method of constructive expression that fits our unique characteristics is part
of the path to awakening. It may be an art form, or a particular practice, like
yoga.

| | | | | | Fear: Dream Interpretation Dictionary
- Death
Death Dreaming about death is very common and it can be interpreted in many different ways. Death is usually a symbol of some type of closure or end. It implies an end to one thing and a beginning of another. Death dreams usually have positive symbolism. If you are the dead person in your dream, it could imply that you would like to leave all of your worries and struggles behind and begin anew. Dreaming about someone that you care about may express your fear about losing them. Dreaming that one of your parents died may express fear of loss, but it also may be an unconscious valve through which you release anger and other negative feelings. In some cultures dreaming about death and dying is a very good omen that represents longevity and prosperity. See also: Meaning of Dreams about Coffin, Zombie, Smothering

In decision theory, regret (and anticipation of regret) can play a significant part in decision-making, distinct from risk aversion (preferring the status quo in case one gets worse off).
