| | | | Fame: Encyclopedia II - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Foundation and MuseumThe Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation was created in 1983. The museum itself opened on September 2, 1995 in a building designed by I. M. Pei. | | | | | Fame: Encyclopedia II - Hollywood Walk of Fame - Stolen StarsThere have been four stars stolen from the walk of fame since it was begun in 1960. The stars of Jimmy Stewart and Kirk Douglas were stolen from a construction site on Vine Street. The stars were removed for a construction project. The star of Gene Autry was also taken from another construction project. That star was found in Iowa. And on November 27, 2005, the star for Gregory Peck was taken off the walk near Gower. This time, it wasn't through a construction project, b ...

| | | | Fame: Encyclopedia II - Baseball Hall of Fame balloting 1946 - The BBWAA electionBecause the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) had failed to elect any candidates in 1945, and had elected only one player since 1939, the previous delay of three years between elections had been eliminated in September 1945 by the Hall of Fame Committee, and annual elections restored.
