Falling : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Children and Dreams - Falling
Falling Children, like adults, are susceptible to falling dreams when they feel off balance or out of control. Falling dreams occur most often when there is a sense of chaos in the schedule, when small things mount up or when stability feels somehow shaky. What you need to know: In a few instances, falling dreams may be associated with ear infections or with an injury to the eardrum. If you suspect your child may be getting an ear infection or has recently had a bad head cold and falling dreams ensue, you may wish to consult your pediatrician. If you don't believe there is any physical element contributing to the falling dream, then it is possible that your child is dealing with a sense of slipping, as if the normal taken-for-granted aspects of life may not be holding up somehow. This is a time to do what you can to reassure your child of the stable elements in her life, and to discuss, if she is willing to, the things that may seem scary or unsettling. Just the act of sharing can often be reassuring, since she'll know it's all right to be scared and that if she feels worried, she can always find a comforting ear to listen. Falling : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Falling
FALLING DREAM You could be falling from anywhere, a high rise building, from a mountain, from a plane, or even from your bed. This is a very common dream, and is sometimes accompanied by muscle jerks, which may jolt you, awake. The dream can occur due to - The posture of a limb dangling off the bed
- Lowering of your blood pressure
- Movement of fluid in the middle ear
After the fall, you may be hurt, you may be unharmed, or you wake up before you hit the ground. At an emotional level the dream probably signifies a fear of fall from position/moral/ethical values, sexual inadequacy, fear of losing your job, the way your dream ends tells you how you would handle such a situation. One interesting theory of a falling dream goes way back when man made his house on trees? Recurring falling dreams could mean that your emotional strength is not at an optimum level. Trying to relax, by listening to music, visualizing tranquil scenes, can help you avoid falling dreams. Source: http://purpleshaman.com

Falling : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Falling symbolizes the action of returning to awake consciousness
Falling symbolizes the action of returning to awake consciousness. There is an old wive's tale which says if you dream you are falling and you hit the bottom you will die. This is not true. Falling symbolizes the mental action of returning to awake consciousness therefore at the time the dreamer would "hit bottom" he/she usually wakes and the dream images are no longer present. Falling : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Falling
Falling You're falling, falling, falling... and then you wake up. This is a very common dream and is said to symbolize insecurities and anxiety. Something in your life is essentially out of control and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Another interpretation is that you have a sense of failure about something. Maybe you're not doing well in school or at work and are afraid you're going to be fired or expelled. Again, you feel that you can't control the situation. Source: www.howstuffworks.com

Falling : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Falling
Falling: Dreaming of falling is very common. It is a symbol of fear in real life: perhaps of falling at work or in your love life. Falling often expresses a need to let yourself go more and enjoy life more. Dreaming of falling can often stem from isolation, however successful you are, you can still feel isolated, and this dream is common among professional men and women. Falling in the dream is an unfulfilled need for support and affection. It's a dream that often occurs when the dreamer is feeling misunderstood or not accepted in a situation. Falling : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Falling or drowning
Falling or drowning Falling is one of the most common nightmares among people of all ages, and may be a reflection of feeling insecure, helpless or of having no support or solid grounding. Some people may actually fall from their beds during this dream. Dreaming about drowning is less frequent, and often occurs when a person feels overwhelmed. Both scenarios involve life-or-death situations and can be traced to prehistoric origins. Garfield says that dreams of falling reflect a time when our ancestors took risks when climbing trees. Falling dreams of modern day often take place from high buildings, elevators and rooftops. Likewise, dreams of drowning go to our inborn need to breathe for survival. People often awake to "escape'' the danger in the dreams. A person's age and medical circumstances can influence these dreams. Toddlers and young children, as well as older people, are prone to more falls in waking life. People with heart conditions that cause fluid buildup in the lungs or those with severe colds may dream of drowning. Flip side: Flying, swimming or dancing joyfully Have you had that feeling of zooming through the air, feeling free, unhindered? Flying often becomes a person's favorite dream. These can inspire the dreamer, lifting him to spiritual heights or filling him with creative notions. Pleasurable swimming may mean freely exploring your depths; dreams of dance may be a metaphor for moving freely through your life.

- Falling
Falling This is a common dream which usually represents underlying fears and feelings of inadequacy and helplessness. Interpret your dream by considering your primary fears, current difficulties, and situations in your life that seem to be on a downward spiral, especially those situations that seem outside of your control (financial, romantic,etc.). Some people believe that if you keep falling in your dream and don't wake up that you will die at the point of impact. This is absolutely not true. In a falling dream you wake up out of fear and not because of danger of dying. Superstition based dream interpretations say that if you fall a long distance in your dream and get hurt, be prepared for really hard times ahead; but if you fall and are not injured your upsets will be minor and temporary.

Falling 1. Human beings have two ancient primal fears: fear of falling, and fear of loud noises. Dreaming of falling often implies the fear of losing control and resulting disaster. If the dreamer falls a great distance, then he should start finding solutions right away, for there is danger of severe complications. If the dreamer falls a short distance and is unhurt, the damage will be minimal and can easily be set right. 2. A pun: Something important will happen, or difficulties will be resolved, by the "fall" (autumn). Astrological

Falling dreams : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Falling dreams - "I'm Falling"
Falling dreams - "I'm Falling" Falling dreams are another theme that is quite common in the world of dreams. Contrary to a popular myth, you will not actually die if you do not wake up before your hit the ground during a fall. As with most common dream themes, falling is an indication of insecurities, instabilities, and anxieties. You are feeling overwhelmed and out of control in some situation in your waking life. This may reflect the way you feel in your relationship or in your work environment. You have lost your foothold and can not hang on or keep up with the hustle and bustle of daily life. When you fall, there is nothing that you can hold on to. You more or less are forced toward this downward motion without any control. This lost of control may parallel a waking situation in your life. Falling dreams also often reflect a sense of failure or inferiority in some circumstance or situation. It may be the fear of failing in your job/school, loss of status, or failure in love. You feel shameful and lack a sense of pride. You are unable to keep up with the status quo or that you don't measure up. According to Freudian theory, dreams of falling indicate that you are contemplating giving into a sexual urge or impulse. You maybe lacking indiscretion. Falling dreams typically occur during the first stage of sleep. Dreams in this stage are often accompanied by muscle spasms of the arms, legs, and the whole body. These sudden contractions, also known as myclonic jerks. Sometimes when we have these falling dreams, we feel our whole body jerk or twitch and we awaken from this jerk. It is thought that this jerking action is part of an arousal mechanism that allows the sleeper to awaken and become quickly alert and responsive to possible threats in the environment. According to biblical interpretations, dreams about falling have a negative overtone and suggest that man is acting and walking according to his own way of thinking and not those of the Lord.
