Three Faces. The Trimurti of the Indian Pantheon; the three persons of the one godhead. Says the Book of Precepts: "There are two Faces, one in Tushita (Devachan) and one in Myalba (earth); and the Highest Holy unites them and finally absorbs both."

Murti(Sanskrit). A form, or a sign, or again a face, e.g., "Trimurti", the "three Faces" or Images.

Panchanana (Sanskrit). "Five-faced", a title of Siva; an allusion to the five races (since the beginning of the first) which he represents, as the ever reincarnating Kumara throughout the Manvantara. In the sixth root-race he will be called the "six-faced".

Ze`eir 'Anpin (Chaldean) Ze`eir 'Appayim (Hebrew) [from ze`eir small, short + 'anpin face, countenance]
 
Short face, the less visage; its Greek equivalent is Mircoprosopus. A Qabbalistic term applied to the lower nine Sephiroth, emanating from the first Sephirah (Kether the Crown) or the Long Face ('Arich 'Anpin). The nine lower Sephiroth are not able to envisage or express the full Sephirothal Tree or scheme nor the full radiance of the Concealed of the Concealed. The Short Face is the union of the nine Sephiroth considered as a composite individual, corresponding to the Qabbalistic 'Adam Qadmon, the Heavenly Man or the manifest or Third Logos.

Melekh (Hebrew, Jewish). Lit., "a King". A title of the Sephira Tiphereth, the V, or vau in the tetragrammaton - the son or Microprosopus (the Lesser Face).

Noo (Egypt, Egyptian). Primordial waters of space called "Father-Mother"; the "face of the deep" of the Bible; for above Noo hovers the Breath of Kneph, who is represented with the Mundane Egg in his mouth.

Pythagorean Pentacle (Ancient Greek). A Kabbalistic six-pointed star with an eagle at the apex and a bull and a lion under the face of a man; a mystic symbol adopted by the Eastern and Roman Christians, who place these animals beside the four Evangelists.

Twofold Man Used of the period in human history when human beings were androgynous. This in one sense was the representative on earth of the cosmic ''Adam Qadmon which becomes the Microprosopus (small face) as distinguished from the cosmos itself, called in the Qabbalah Macroprosopus (great face).
 
The twofold man, whether cosmic or terrestrial, belongs to the secondary creation, the creation of darkness or matter, or the vast intricacies of cosmic differentiations, as distinguished from the primary creation, the first emanations from cosmic spirit imbodying entities of spiritual and intellectual power, and hence often called the creation of light, which in its latter stage became that of the self-evolved gods or ''elohim.

Quinanes. A very ancient race of giants, of whom there are many traditions, not only in the folk-lore but in the history of Central America. Occult science teaches that the race which preceded our own human race was one of giants, which gradually decreased, after the Atlantean deluge had almost swept them off the face of the earth, to the present size of man.
