In 1993, Esoteric released Esoteric Emotions - The Death of Ignorance - a demo tape containing 82 minutes of hateful, drug-influenced, tortured doom metal with a total of eight tracks. Almost immediately, this resulted in an offer from Aesthetic Death to record a full-length CD of new material. In June 1994, Esoteric entered Rich Bitch studios in Birmingham to record six tracks (lasting nearly 90 minutes). This recording was released as a double CD, titled Epistemological Despondency. Esoterism: Some Esoteric Principles

Esoteric tenets of the established religions clearly state, among other things that "God is everywhere."

If we are to believe this statement, we then have to say, "Then God must also somehow be within that which is evil, including the Devil himself!"

Well, without going too far into the esoteric nature of the matter, I will simply say that what appears to be evil, is just that, an appearance.

Esoterism: Encyclopedia - Ball lightning

Ball lightning is a natural phenomenon, or debatably, a pseudoscientific theory. It is sometimes associated with thunderstorms. It takes the form of a long-lived, glowing, floating object, as opposed to the short-lived arcing between two points commonly associated with lightning. An early attempt to explain ball lightning was recorded by Nikola Tesla on March 5, 1904 (Electrical World and Engineer). [1] There is dispute on the existence of ball lightning. Many in the scientific community seek be ...

Esoterism: Encyclopedia - FALSE

FALSE is an esoteric programming language designed by Wouter van Oortmerssen in 1993, named after his favourite boolean value. It is a small Forth-like stack-oriented language, with syntax designed to make the code inherently obfuscated, confusing, and unreadable. It is also noteworthy for having a compiler of only 1024 bytes (written in 68000 assembly). According to van Oortmerssen, FALSE provided the inspiration for various well known esoteric ...

Esoterism: Encyclopedia II - Esoteric cosmology - Neoplatonism

Although under Plotinus, Neoplatonism began as a school of philosophy, the teachings of later Neoplatonists such as Iamblichus and Proclus incorporate additional details of the emanation process in terms of the dialectical action of the hypostases and further subdivisions from Plotinus' original three hypostases. Each higher hypostasis constitutes a more sublime deific state of existence. There is also a tendency in later neoplatonic thought towards increasing transcendentalism and dualism. Although Plotinus saw spiritual ascent as leading ultimately to the One (The Absolute), in later Neoplatonism the best one can ho ...

Esoterism: Encyclopedia II - Esoteric cosmology - Kabbalah

Kabbalah combines orthodox Judaic, Neoplatoinic, Gnostic, and philosophical (e.g. Aristotlean) themes, to develop an elaborate and highly symbolic cosmology in which God, who is ineffable and unknowable, manifests as ten archetypal sephirot, each with its own Divine attributes, and arranged in a configuration of interrelated paths called the Tree of Life. The original Tree gives rise to further trees, until there are four or (in Lurianic Kabbalah) five worlds or universes (Trees) in all, with the lowest sephira of the ...
