| | | | Emotional: The Doorway To FreedomEnlightenment cannot enter through a closed
door. Forgiveness is the doorway to enlightenment or love consciousness, for
without completing forgiveness you cannot move on. It will always be the anchor
that holds you back. Sooner or later you must do it for your own sake.
"Unforgiveness" is a poison in your system that will rob you of your
spiritual life. If you hate one soul you will never be able to love another
completely. The poison in your system will pollute your experience of love with
everyone and everything in life.

MUSIC THERAPY
MUSIC THERAPY Music therapy is the prescribed use of music by a qualified person to effect positive changes in the psychological, physical, cognitive, or social functioning of individuals who have health or educational problems. The idea of music as a healing influence that can affect health and behavior is as least as old as the writings of Aristotle and Plato. The 20th century discipline began after World War I and World War II when community musicians of all types, both amateur and professional, went to veterans' hospitals around the country to play for the thousands of veterans suffering both physical and emotional trauma from the wars. The patients' physical and emotional improvements in response to music led the doctors and nurses to request that hospitals hire musicians. For children, illness and hospitalizations disrupt normal living patterns, school and important social activities. Music therapy helps to reduce this disruption by providing sensitive, creative interventions--including playing instruments and writing songs. These interventions also offer acute and chronically ill children the chance to learn, express themselves, interact with family and peers and, simply, relax and enjoy themselves. Even parents and siblings can join the fun and experience the benefits. The power of music is documented: Studies have shown that music can influence heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, pain perception, physical health and well-being. Music is loved by young and old.

Hindu -
Hinduism Dictionary on Purity impurity
Purity impurity: Shaucha-ashaucha. Purity and its opposite, pollution, are a fundamental part of Hindu culture. While they imply a strong sense of physical cleanliness, their more important meanings extend to social, ceremonial, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual contamination. Freedom from all forms of contamination is a key to Hindu spirituality, and is one of the yamas. - Physical purity requires a clean and wellordered environment, yogic purging of the internal organs and frequent cleansing with water. - Mental purity derives from meditation, right living and right thinking. - Emotional purity depends on control of the mind, clearing the subconscious and keeping good company. - Spiritual purity is achieved through following the yamas and niyamas, study of the Vedas and other scriptures, pilgrimage, meditation, japa, tapas and ahimsa. - Ritual purity requires the observance of certain prayashchittas, or penances, for defilement derived from foreign travel, contact with base people or places, conversion to other faiths, contact with bodily wastes, attending a funeral, etc. Purity is of three forms - purity in mind, speech and body, or thought, word and deed. Purity is the pristine and natural state of the soul. Impurity, or pollution, is the obscuring of this state by adulterating experience and beclouding conceptions. In daily life, the Hindu strives to protect this innate purity by wise living, following the codes of dharma. This includes harnessing the sexual energies, associating with other virtuous Hindu devotees, never using harsh, angered or indecent language, and keeping a clean and healthy physical body. See: dharma, papa, penance, punya, yamaniyama.

Spiritual Dictionary on Moon
Moon: The Moon is in its sign of rulership in Cancer. The Moon is visible to us because of reflected light from the Sun. Its monthly motion through the heavens and its phases are timers we should all take seriously. Hospital employees tell stories of increased birth rate or emergency room traffic as the Full Moon approaches. Astrologers know that important activities are best begun just after the New Moon. The Moon in your chart reflects your subconscious mind. Its sign and house describe your emotional bias – the way your express your feelings most easily and directly. It is interesting to note that the Sun and Moon appear to be exactly the same size in the sky. If this were not so, we could not have total eclipses of the Sun. But what does this mean to the astrologer? It means that the vitality of the Sun is equal in importance to the action of the Moon in your life. The expression of your individuality is equal in importance to the nurturance of your emotional well-being. Conscious awareness is equal to subconscious motivations. Studying your Moon sign can provide clue to your inner life and suggest paths to increased personal satisfaction with life. In terms of career, the Sun may show what you want to be when you grow up, but the Moon shows the path – the means – to that end. (This relationship happens to be true for all kinds of astrological charts – for events, nations, weather forecasting, etc.) Learning about the sign and house of your Moon will provide answers to many questions you may have about how to take positive action. This is the area of the chart that shows your emotional changeability, and it also reflects your best path to any other kind of change in your life. Finally, the Moon shows, by its sign and house, how and where you can be comfortable. It suggests the physical surroundings, the material objects and the emotional tone that is pleasant for you. It also shows how you assimilate – food, information, emotional vibrations. The Sun and Moon together form a team. You will find that be considering them together, you get a fuller, richer sense of who you are and how you can become happier and more successful.

too Little
A telephone operator in a small town
would receive a daily call from a man who asked for the exact time. Finally,
the operator asked him why he called every day. "Because", he said, "I
am the man responsible for blowing the whistle at noon each day."
"Well, that's strange", the operator replied: "Every
day, exactly at noon, I set my clock by your whistle".
Individual lives cannot be compartmentalised; through our
actions, we impact each other more than we realise. It follows that there is a
profound relationship between the individual and the universe. So it's
important for us to understand one another better. One way is to learn more
about emotions, a key to understanding human behaviour and relationships.

for UnityTantra: The Libido - thirst
for Unity
Another aspect which is
important in TANTRA YOGA is that the libido, when manifested as sexual drive,
is not at all considered to be only sensuality but, at the innermost levels, as
the soul's ardent yearning for spiritual perfection. Here the erotic impulse
appears as the psyche's abyssal thirst to reach perfection through unity of
complementary polar opposites. In this way, re-born as a genuine Androgyne of
the Secret Tradition -- magical child of SHIVA and SHAKTI -- the Individual
Spirit will have access to the highest levels of Consciousness.

Spiritual Dictionary on Pisces
Pisces: The best quality of Pisces is sympathy. The worst quality is hypersensitivity. A key phrase is “I believe.” The Pisces personality is dreamy and idealistic. You like to float in an ocean of sensitivity, relating to your own feelings and the feelings of others in a direct way. You are the classic romantics, wanting to indulge the senses. You sometimes appear to be vague. Mentally Pisceans are prudent people, balancing the emotional side with the capacity to worry about details. Because your strength lies in the feeling realm, you may feel inferior in the mental realm. It is important to remember that the capacity for sound judgment lies as much in feelings as in logic. Pisces uses psychic senses to make decisions, and may need to learn how to back up these impressions with facts. Pisces mirrors the environment. You can appear very different in different situations, and you can be responsive to the needs of others. More than that, you can inspire other people through your own emotional strength. You may be able to see into the future, but this very ability takes you out of the present, and therefore may keep you from completing projects. Pisces is a peaceful sign. You often are retiring, preferring to be on the edge of things watching than to be in the middle of the action. You tend to worry and may feel slighted by others. You believe what you feel. The great strength of Pisces lies in the ability to respond in two worlds –the world of practical social dealings and the internal world of mystical experience. You may need to develop the strengths of planets in other signs to get you around in the day-to-day world, but you are well-equipped to understand the realm of spirit. Your adaptability usually gets you what you need on the material side, even while you have your minds on Utopian quests. Compassion can be one of your strongest qualities.

Anahata ChakraChakras:
Anahata Chakra
Anahata
chakra, the heart center, is related to the air element. Here the language of
emotional needs is replaced by that of devotional needs, which is to say,
"I need" has become "I love" or "I feel devotional
yearnings." The soul is reaching beyond the ego's hopes for self-directed
autonomy and emotional closeness and senses the fulfillments of a shared
reality. Indeed, the limited and fictive sense of the separate-self ego is
coming to light.

| | | | Emotional: Kalki and the Golden Age – Chapter 3: Basic TeachingIn this third chapter of Kiara Windriders new book; “Enlightenment 2012: Kalki and the Golden Age”, Kiara is describing the basic teachings conducted by Kalki and the Dasajis of Golden Age Foundation at the retreats for enlightenment.
In the courses offered at Kalki’s ashram, the first few days are about becoming aware of the prison of our mind. It isn’t about trying to change any of it, because you cannot. You are simply witnessing the reality of your mind as it is, the emotional charge, the habit patterns, the assumptions, the traumas, the conditioning, and the masks that we build up in order to survive. You begin to strip down the social and spiritual personas, and you begin to understand the nature of mind. You become aware that enlightenment is simply about ‘de-clutching’ from the mind.
