Interpretation Rat, rats
A rat is a sign that negative influences are undermining your vitality. Dreams about rats and mice usually reflect the worries which are "gnawing" you. Seeing a rat: you will go through some unpleasant experience with other people. If you are bitten by a rat in the dream, be aware that one of your friends is determined to ruin your reputation. If you catch or kill a rat, it is a warning about trouble in your love relationship or friendship. Seeing rats leaving a ship is a sign that you have miscalculated about a situation at your job.

Magick Dictionary
on
FAMILIAR
FAMILIAR Any spirit or demon which can be summoned by a sorcerer to do his or her bidding, hence anyone well or long acquainted, such as a pet (or such as the officer of the Inquisition who interrogates the one accused of sorcery). Amongst witches, who are often lonely, they are generally small animals (frogs, lizards, cats, dogs, rats, moles, ferrets, etc.). They tend to be given barbarous names like "Pyewacket" or "Dandiprat", or semi-descriptives: Buzz, Digger, Tit, Bonecracker, Little Rat, Thistlepurr, Hop-Moon. It is understood that even plants or inanimate objects can serve as familiars.

 | | | Dream Symbol Rat: Embarking on an Incredible Journey
It is a truism that we are creatures of habit. Very soon what may have initially been a challenge becomes a routine and predictable affair. We seem, by and large, to prefer it that way. Every now and then, however, comes a challenge that requires a supreme effort of will to absorb and routinise it - a life-shattering experience is one such instance. You are left with the shards of your life and have the task of rearranging the pieces. Instinctively, you want to recreate the past - but, like Humpty Dumpty, you find that this is an impossible task.

 | | | Dream Symbol Rat: Back to Basics: Nature Talk
Our love and concern for animals emerge out of two basic postulates of Indian philosophy. One, that like us, every plant and living being is the ansha or part of the one Param Brahma, the Omnipotent One, and two, that born of the one earth mother all of them have equal right on all resources. So they are like our own siblings. All life forms have a symbiotic relationship - we are all linked together and our actions are bound to have an effect on our environment and other living beings.

Brain - The brain in animals.
Three groups of animals, with some exceptions, have notably complex brains: the arthropods (insects and crustaceans), the cephalopods (octopuses, squid, and similar mollusks), and the craniates (vertebrates and their cousins) [1]. The brain of arthropods and cephalopods arises from twin parallel nerve cords that extend through the body of the animal. In arthropods, the brain consists of a central ...

The Ustaša policies against the Eastern Orthodoxy are called "Uniatism" in some Eastern Orthodox circles. Still it is a, generally pejorative, description of the Catholic Church's efforts to convert large numbers of Orthodox Christians ...
