Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Maze

Maze

The maze could represent your current mental outlook. A maze is a frightening and confusing place. If in your dream you are trapped in a maze and are having difficulty getting to the end, then you need to stop and consider your current emotional and psychological status. I don't mean to suggest anything is terribly wrong. Simply speaking, are you often confused and unsure of which way to go? If you are facing many hard decisions this dream is a good indicator that you need to step back and look at the entire picture. Edgar Cayce said that being in a maze in a dream may be symbolic of an "emotionally disorganized" person. At times we are all emotionally disorganized and confused, but admitting this dream's message is step in the right direction.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: The Classical Mayan Tzolkin Count and the Dreamspell
During the past decade interest in the Calendars of the Maya has dramatically increased world-wide. Ultimately, this increasing interest is derived from the fact that a new consciousness of time is now emerging. A New Age gives rise to a new consciousness of time which in turn requires a new calendar for this to be expressed. This new consciousness of time is today commonly experienced either as if time is accelerating, or that it simply disappears. Maybe, in fact, the idea that time is a quantity is on its way out. "Why is this?" we may ask. Is it merely an illusion of ours that time is running faster or has our highly developed technological society developed so effective means of tele communications that everything is speeding up to a point where things almost become unbearable?

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Dreams Interpretation Dictionary - Flying

Flying Dream Symbols:

getting above yourself; liberation; extend the range of your consciousness.

From SpiritCommunity

Flying

Some people believe that flying in our dreams can be an actual out of body experience, that we go to places on this physical plane as well as into the inner planes (mostly the Astral). Edgar Cayce thought that Astral travel or 'soul travel" might be a precursor to becoming lucid in a dream. Carl Jung's idea was that in a flying dream we are expressing our desire to break free of restrictions and limitations. We have a desire to be free and above all difficulties! Alfred Adler thought that this dream was a type of a superiority dream in which we reveal the desire to dominate and be above others. Focusing on the libido, Freud thought that flying was another way to express sexual desires. The details of your dream will give you clues as to what it symbolizes, if your dream was a spiritual experience or ego based.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Encyclopedia - Karma

Karma or "Karm"(Sanskrit: कर्म from the root kri, "to do", meaning deed) or Kamma (Pali: meaning action, effect, destiny) is a term in several eastern religions that comprises the entire cycle of cause and effect. Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done and is currently doing. The effects of those deeds actively create present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life. Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Encyclopedia - Compensation essay

Compensation is an essay by Ralph Waldo Emerson. In his essay, Emerson states that everything is well compensated for. Every excess causes a defect; every defect an excess. Every benefit has a tax. The cheat cheats himself. The swindler swindles himself. The real prize of labor is knowledge and virtue. Wealth and credit are mere external signs. These signs, like paper money, may be counterfeited or stolen, but that which they represent, namel ...

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Should You Develop Your Psychic Abilities?

Each and every person has psychic abilities that vary in terms of intensity and strength. The strength of your abilities will depend on what you are meant to accomplish during your lifetime. If you are meant to be a healer, then you will probably have strong healing ability. If you are meant to give proof to people about the existence of life after death, then you will be able to communicate with loved ones that have passed on. Each person is unique in his or her gifts.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: What is driving the evolution of consciousness described by the Mayan Calendar? - I

How is the Mayan Long Count to be explained? Why did this ancient people, that were the most mathematically advanced of their day, choose to use a chronology that consisted of thirteen different periods of 144,000 days each, starting on August 11, 3114, BC and ending on December 21, AD 2012? On a more fundamental level three different types of answers have been given to this question, a materialist, a spiritual and what might be called a pseudo-spiritual, answers that are linked to different world views. In the materialist world view the astronomical, physical cycles are seen as primary to the spiritual whereas in the spiritual world view they are seen as secondary.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Life in the Spirit World - Part One

There is only one way in which we can be given information about what it is like in the Spirit world. That information has to come first hand from someone who is there. There are two ways in which someone can go to the Spirit world: either temporarily, through some type of out of body experience or expansion of consciousness; or permanently through death.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Psychic Perception, Spiritual Insight, and Inspiration

Above the rational mind and below the soul realm is an intermediary plane of consciousness that I call the intuitional. It is very difficult to characterize this realm, because it transcends mental concepts but is still not a realm of being like the soul. The intuitional plane is the "highest" or most subtle and universal part of the created worlds. Although God and souls are the truly creative agents of the universe, we could say that the process of creating begins with the intuition and then moves to concepts, feeling responses, images and shapes, and finally physical manifestation. Thus intuition is a key to initiating creativity.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Encyclopedia II - Reincarnation - Reincarnation Research

The most detailed collections of personal reports in favor of reincarnation have been published by Dr. Ian Stevenson in works such as Reincarnation and Biology: A Contribution to the Etiology of Birthmarks and Birth Defects, which documents thousands of detailed cases where claims of injuries received in past lives sometimes correlate with atyptical physical birthmarks or birth defects. Perhaps the most significant anecdotal evidence in this regard is the phenomenon of young children spontaneously sharing what appear to be memo ...

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Dragons throughout the ages - Dragons importance in Astrology.

Chinese astrologers refer to the Moon's Nodes as the Dragon's Head and Tail and give it tremendous attention as to the placement in the natal chart. Sadly, practical modern astrologers tend to ignore its very existence and in the process, lose a wealth of valuable information. To my knowledge, the Dragon, in itself, holds as much, if not more, facts and power than the entire complexity of a whole astrological chart! This article give you the knowledge to understand the Dragon in your personal horoscope.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Child prodigy - Indigo child? Or just a well endowed soul?

Clearly child prodigies have existed for a long time. This is not a new phenomenon. Yet the Indigo Child proponents say this is something new that's happening, brought about as I said because of the period of growth and change.

In some cases the Indigo children are said to have great spiritual talents and are talking with one another through a wide-spread telepathic communication channel between these Indigo children.

Dream Symbol Edgar Cayce: Encyclopedia II - Clairvoyance - Clairvoyance through history

There have been anecdotal reports of clairvoyance and claims of clairvoyant abilities on the part of some throughout history in most cultures. Often these have been associated with religious figures, offices, and practices. For example, ancient Hindu religious texts list clairvoyance as one of the siddhis, skills that can be acquired through appropriate meditation and personal discipline. But a large number of anecdotal accounts of clairvoyance are of the spontaneous variety among the general populace. For example, many people report instanc ...
