- Cat
Cat Cats have both positive and negative connotations. You need to consider all of the details in the dream in order to obtain accurate interpretation. The cat can be a symbol of sexuality, femininity, prosperity and power. A cat is also an independent animal, and in your dream you may be associating yourself or someone else with these characteristics. Usually the dream is telling you about yourself and not others. Historically black cats have been symbols of evil and bad luck. If you are a cat lover and have one as a pet, the symbolism may not apply to your dream. Old, superstition-based dream interpretations say that a cat is a bad omen and that you can expect deceit from those that you trust.

 | | | Dream Symbol Deceit: Dream Dictionary - Dog
Dog As a general rule dogs in a dream are a good omen and symbolize friends. Of course the interpretation varies according to the action and other details but is fairly straight-forward. If the dog was friendly and affectionate, it signifies pleasure and happy times with friends; a fierce or snarling dog suggests disagreements or untrustworthy friend; and if it bit or attacked, you are being warned to look out for actual deceit or harmful trickery from someone you have trusted. To hear a dog bark happily signifies pleasing social recognition, but if it barked fiercely, you are being warned of possible legal troubles, so don't fiddle your taxes or park your car too close to a hydrant. To see dogs fighting indicates that you may be called on to arbitrate in an argument between friends, in which case you must be extra tactful to avoid ending up the odd man out. If the dog in your dream was an exceptionally large one, it signifies protection through a powerful friend

Dictionary - Religion
Religion - If you dream of discussing religion and feel religiously inclined, you will find much to mar the calmness of your life, and business will turn a disagreeable front to you.
- If a young woman imagines that she is over religious, she will disgust her lover with her efforts to act ingenuous innocence and goodness.
- If she is irreligious and not a transgressor, it foretells that she will have that independent frankness and kind consideration for others, which wins for women profound respect, and love from the opposite sex as well as her own; but if she is a transgressor in the eyes of religion, she will find that there are moral laws, which, if disregarded, will place her outside the pale of honest recognition. She should look well after her conduct. If she weeps over religion, she will be disappointed in the desires of her heart. If she is defiant, but innocent of offence, she will shoulder burdens bravely, and stand firm against deceitful admonitions.
- If you are self-reproached in the midst of a religious excitement, you will find that you will be almost induced to give up your own personality to please some one whom you hold in reverent esteem.
- To see religion declining in power, denotes that your life will be more in harmony with creation than formerly. Your prejudices will not be so aggressive.
- To dream that a minister in a social way tells you that he has given up his work, foretells that you will be the recipient of unexpected tidings of a favorable nature, but if in a professional and warning way, it foretells that you will be overtaken in your deceitful intriguing, or other disappointments will follow.
- (These dreams are sometimes fulfilled literally in actual life. When this is so, they may have no symbolical meaning. Religion is thrown around men to protect them from vice, so when they propose secretly in their minds to ignore its teachings, they are likely to see a minister or some place of church worship in a dream as a warning against their contemplated action. If they live pure and correct lives as indicated by the church, they will see little of the solemnity of the church or preachers.)

Alternative
Health Dictionary on Enneagram system
Enneagram system (Enneagram, Enneatype system): System of spiritual psychology based on an ancient Sufi typology of nine (ennea in Greek) personality types or primary roles: (1) the achiever (reformer) - orderly, rational, and self-righteous; (2) the helper - generous, manipulative, and possessive; (3) the succeeder (motivator, status-seeker) - ambitious, hostile, and pragmatic; (4) the individualist (artist) - intuitive, self-absorbed, and sensitive; (5) the observer (thinker) - analytic, original, and provocative; (6) the guardian (loyalist) - defensive, engaging, and responsible; (7) the dreamer (generalist) - accomplished and manic; (8) the confronter (leader) - combative, dominating, and self-confident; and (9) the preservationist (peacemaker) - easygoing and receptive. Each type has a prime psychological addiction (fixation or blind spot), respectively: anger, pride, deceit, envy, greed, fear, gluttony, lust for life and power, and laziness. These addictions include Christianity's seven deadly sins. (a) Recognition of one's type is tantamount to spiritual awakening. in the process of neutralizing the prime addiction: (b) achievers become pathfinders, (c) helpers become partners, succeeders become motivators, (d) individualists become builders, (e) observers become explorers, (f) guardians become stabilizers, (g) dreamers become illuminators, (h) confronters become philanthropists, and (i) preservationists become universalists.

 | | | Dream Symbol Deceit: Hindu Philosophy - The YogaThe word Yoga
comes from the root Yuj
which means to join.
Yoga is restraint of the activities of the mind, and is the union of the
individual soul with the Supreme Soul.
Hiranyagarbha is
the founder of the Yoga system. The Yoga founded by Patanjali Maharshi is a
branch or supplement of the Sankhya. It has its own charm for students of a
mystic temperament and of a contemplative type. It claims greater orthodoxy
than the Sankhya proper by directly acknowledging the existence of a Supreme
Being (Isvara).

 | | | Dream Symbol Deceit: He who cast the first stone
probably didn't
Shiites
seek revenge on Sunnis for the revenge they sought on Shiites; Irish Catholics
retaliate against the Protestants who retaliated against them; Hezbollah and
Hamas retaliate against Israel who in turn retaliates back.
In
each of these instances, people on one side claim that they are merely
responding to provocation and dismiss the other side's identical claim as
disingenuous spin. But psychology research suggests that these claims reflect
genuinely different perceptions of the same reality.
This article, by Daniel Gilbert
professor of psychology at Harvard, gives an understanding to why the conflict
in the Middle East can escalate into madness without the parties themselves
being aware of their own role.
