Dream Symbol Blue: Dream Interpretations Dictionary - Blue

Dream Interpretation Blue

Blue has always something to do with intellectual and spiritual events, insights, experiences, and mental processes. It is opposite of the emotional "red", because it is "cool" and "analytical". A soft gentle blue is typically female colour. Blue is a symbol of emotional contentment that we all would like to attain. It indicates that you live wisely and with compassion. Blue stands for intellectual goals and insight, faith, and spiritual maturity.

Dream Symbol Blue: Dreams Interpretation Dictionary - Colors

COLORS

Red

May symbolize passion, anger, sexuality, revolution, danger. As the colour of blood, red is the symbol of life (which is why Hindu and Chinese brides wear red); but blood, or course may also mean death (see meaning od death).

Orange

(1) May symbolize aggressiveness.

(2) Because it is the colour of the sun, it may symbolize life, or consciousness.

(3) If you are depressed, orange may symbolize the dawn of a new attitude of optimism and proper self-love.

Yellow

Yellow may symbolize cowardice ("yellow streak"); consciousness, awareness or intelligence; or Dream Symbols:

particularily if golden Dream Symbols:

a promise of something good and life-enhancing, or an intimation of your true self.

Green

Green commonly symbolizes the fertility of Nature (as in the Green Man, the spirit of fecundity). In your dreams, therefore, it may indicate personal growth, some new development in your personality.

Grey

(1) The colour may represent old age, death (see meaning of death), depression.

(2) As intermediate between black and white, and as the colour of mist, grey may symbolize an unclear state of mind where distinctions are blurred, or where you have difficulty in seeing where you are going or have lost all sense of direction.

Blue

(1) Blue may sometimes symbolize the universal or collective unconscious (as distinct from the individual unconscious). Perhaps the dream is asking you to base your life on intuitions that come from a deep source within your psyche.

(2) Alternatively, blue may represent the power of the conscious mind, particularly if it is the blue of the sky.

(3) Darm blue may be associated with depression Dream Symbols:

'the blues".

(4) Blue clothing may symbolize masculinity. Tony Crisp (in his Dream Dictionary) observes that women sometimes dream of threatening men dressed in blue Dream Symbols:

dark blue or navy. Such a dream should motivate the dreamer to get in touch with her animus (the masculine side of her own psyche). and enter into a dialog with it, with a view to establishing a more positive relationship both with the masculine in herself and also with real men in the extrenal world. Perhaps examining her relationship with her father wil be the key to understanding her negative attitude towards men and masculinity.

(5) The blue sea may symbolize the unconscious or the feminine (anima, mother, or Great Mother, the wise self).

(6) At an advanced level of mystical awareness, blue may represent the primal energy from which the universal life-force comes. (In mythology the primevil ocean is not itself a thing: it is without form or shape but contains the potential for all forms and shapes Dream Symbols:

a description that fits God).

Purple

May symbolize mystery and therefore represent, in psychological terms, deep intuition or awareness of some type as yet unexplored dimension of the self.

Black

(1)A black hole or dark depths Dream Symbols:

which is hwy insomniacs are sometimes advised to close their eyes and imagine themselves wrapped round in black velvet. If you begin to trust your unconscious (which means trusting Nature, your human Nature), each previously horrifying or disgusting part of your unconscious will show itself in a new light, as something you need for personal fulfillment. Putting your consciousness into the unconscious Dream Symbols:

becoming aware of it Dream Symbols:

means putting more and more light into the darkness. If a star or other bright light appears in the blackness, this may be seen as a "light at the end of the tunnel", that is, as a symbol of the "illumination" Dream Symbols:

new wisdom or insight Dream Symbols:

that may be achieved by dwelling a while in the unconscious and making its better acquaintance.

(2) Black (particularly for white people) may symbolize evil. If so, bear in mind that, as a general rule, what appears in your dreams is always some part of you, and that the so-called "evil" (and therefore repressed) parts of you are really evil only if, because of neglect, they become rebellious, or if you let them take control away from your conscious self. These " evil" things are transformed into good things Dream Symbols:

creative, and bringing fuller life, happiness and wholeness Dream Symbols:

when conscious and unconscious interact and establish a harmonious working relationship.

(3) A person dressed in black may represent your shadow .

(4) A black-skinned person (if you are white-skinned) may represent either the shadow or closeness to Nature.

(5) A black animal probably represents some unconscious repressed drive or emotion. If the animal is fierce, this possibly means that something you have repressed is now urgently pressing you to give it your conscious attention and let it have some expression in your waking life.

(6) Blackness (as in black night, etc.) may simply signify diminished visibility, in which case the meaning of the dream may have something to do with a loss of orientation in your life. Do you feel you don't know which way to go; or that you don't have the energy or will to go in any direction? If so, make a pact with your unconscious to the effect that, it will tell you where you have the potential Dream Symbols:

and the need Dream Symbols:

togo, you will respond accordingly in your life. Then pay close attention to the dreams that follow. (If you go the next few nights without dreaming Dream Symbols:

or, more precisely, without recalling your dreams Dream Symbols:

this probably means that you are backing out of the pact and setting up a defence against what you fear your unconscious might have to tell you).

(7) Black may symbolize dispair or deep depression. If so, follow the advice given in (6) above.

(8) In many parts of the world black is associated with death. It is possible, therefore, that this what the colour signifies in your dream. Bear in mind, however, that death in a dream may refer to something internal: the "death" Dream Symbols:

or the giving up Dream Symbols:

of something within you (for example, some irrational fear, or other negative attitude or emotion).

Brown

(1) Brown is an earthly colour and may, therefore, symbolize the instinctive or the sensuous.

(2) Brown is also an autumnal colour and as such may signify a (feeling of ) decline; low spirits or depression.

White

White may signify pure and innocence, peace happines, joy; but in the East it is associated with death and mourning. (See meaning of death)

Gold

(1) Symbolically, the colour gold has connections with the sun and may represent new life, self-renewal; some new development in your psyche.

(2) Gold, as something valuable, may symbolize either your true self, as distinct from your conscious ego, or some faculity in your psyche which, if accepted and activated, could bring you closer to your real self.

(3) Gold fruit (like the golden fleece) features in mythology as a hero's prize for overcoming monster or other evils. This symbolizes the rewards of facing up to the contents of the unconscious, taming those that Dream Symbols:

through neglect Dream Symbols:

have become wild or aggressive, and intergrating them into your conscious life.

Silver

(1) Silver may symbolize something of value with regard to your personal development.

(2) Silver has associations with the moon, and may therefore symbolize the feminine; intuition; or the unconscious.

Dream Symbol Blue: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Colors

Colors

Most people dream in colors, but at times some stand out more than others. Colors are symbolic and their symbolism is part of culture. We communicate with color and relate ideas with them. For example, a bride wears white and black is worn at funerals. Colors also represent energy. The meaning that you give to the colors in your dreams depends on the meaning that you give to those colors in daily life. If you "see red" when you are angry, then red symbolizes anger and not passion for you. Some generalizations have been made as to the meaning of colors in dreams. They are as follows

Black: depression, sadness, despair. Some believe it symbolizes hidden sexual desires.

Blue: spirituality, optimism, positive thoughts, communication. Some believe that when you see it in your dreams, you may be in the presence of your spiritual guide.

Green: money, jealousy, health concerns, love.

Red: passion, sexuality, anger, warning.

White: purity, transformation, cleanliness, dignity.

Dream Symbol Blue: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Letter

Letter

  • To dream that you see a registered letter, foretells that some money matters will disrupt long-established relations.
  • For a young woman to dream that she receives such a letter, intimates that she will be offered a competency, but it will not be on strictly legal, or moral grounds; others may play towards her a dishonorable part.
  • To the lover, this bears heavy presentments of disagreeable mating. His sweetheart will covet other gifts than his own.
  • To dream of an anonymous letter, denotes that you will receive injury from an unsuspected source.
  • To write one, foretells that you will be jealous of a rival, whom you admit to be your superior.
  • To dream of getting letters bearing unpleasant news, denotes difficulties or illness. If the news is of a joyous character, you will have many things to be thankful for. If the letter is affectionate, but is written on green, or colored, paper, you will be slighted in love and business. Despondency will envelop you. Blue ink, denotes constancy and affection, also bright fortune.
  • Red colors in a letter, imply estrangements through suspicion and jealousy, but this may be overcome by wise maneuvering of the suspected party.
  • If a young woman dreams that she receives a letter from her lover and places it near her heart, she will be worried very much by a good-looking rival. Truthfulness is often rewarded with jealousy.
  • If you fail to read the letter, you will lose something either in a business or social way.
  • Letters nearly always bring worry.
  • To have your letter intercepted, rival enemies are working to defame you.
  • To dream of trying to conceal a letter from your sweetheart or wife, intimates that you are interested in unworthy occupations.
  • To dream of a letter with a black border, signifies distress and the death of some relative.
  • To receive a letter written on black paper with white ink, denotes that gloom and disappointment will assail you, and friendly interposition will render small relief. If the letter passes between husband and wife, it means separation under sensational charges. If lovers, look for quarrels and threats of suicide. To business people, it denotes enviousness and covetousness.
  • To dream that you write a letter, denotes that you will be hasty in condemning some one on suspicion, and regrets will follow.
  • A torn letter, indicates that hopeless mistakes may ruin your reputation.
  • To receive a letter by hand, denotes that you are acting ungenerously towards your companions or sweetheart, and you also are not upright in your dealings.
  • To dream often of receiving a letter from a friend, foretells his arrival, or you will hear from him by letter or otherwise.

Dream Symbol Blue: To be able to control your dream

'Lucid dreams have changed my life.' These are the words of former sceptic, Mark Creed. As an industrial chemist, 37-year-old Mark specialised in polymers, and like so many scientists, was schooled in the concept of behaviourism and thought that if anecdotal phenomena could not be physically measured, they probably did not exist.

Dream Symbol Blue: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Women

Women

  • To dream of women, foreshadows intrigue.
  • To argue with one, foretells that you will be outwitted and foiled.
  • To see a dark-haired woman with blue eyes and a pug nose, definitely determines your withdrawal from a race in which you stood a showing for victory. If she has brown eyes and a Roman nose, you will be cajoled into a dangerous speculation. If she has auburn hair with this combination, it adds to your perplexity and anxiety. If she is a blonde, you will find that all your engagements will be pleasant and favorable to your inclinations.

Dream Symbol Blue: Beyond the Last Blue Mountain

Traditionally, going on a tirtha or pilgrimage is believed to present an ideal occasion for soul-searching. The more arduous the journey, the greater the opportunity to reflect. A yatra is a good time - when the temporal and the timeless meet - to try and expand our understanding of our own selves and the Absolute. This is the spirit of the annual pilgrimage to the hallowed cave-shrine of Amarnath.

Dream Symbol Blue: Balancing and Charging the Chakras

Balancing and Charging the Chakras

The energy of your body will not be balanced and free flowing if you do not have good emotional balance, good physical health, and good relationships with your surroundings and yourself.

Almost no one is ever perfectly balanced. If you could do this, you would be able to rise from the dead, have a body transformed into a cosmic molecular structure and commune with the gods as an equal.

Dream Symbol Blue: The Throath Chakra

The Throath Chakra

This chakra radiates a blue light, when seen from the highest level - a clear blue color, not light blue, but a clear blue color, like the sky on a clear summerday.

Dream Symbol Blue: The new kids

"One of the most amazing attributes of the new age is going to come right out the cribs of thousands of homes all over the world. The new children of the "indigo" color have arrived in mass and are already among us. Sometimes I think this is what has been predicted as "the mass landing"! I have also heard them called Children of the Blue Ray, the Blue Race, and Children of the Violet Flame." The article by Lee Carroll is taken from the Kryon Quarterly newsletter, Issue 6, 1997.

Dream Symbol Blue: Imitation of Christ, Peace on Earth - - about Christmas

Christmas symbolises peace and goodwill towards all; that is why ceasefires are inspired by Christmas. It also means that we should ready ourselves to receive the child God, who epitomises the spirit of giving and receiving.

For many of us, sadly, the spirit of Christmas is ''hurry''.And yet, eventually, the hour comes when the rushing ends and the race against the calendar mercifully comes to a close. It is only now perhaps that we truly recognise the spirit of Christmas. Christmas itself is eternal, said Burton Hillis.

Dream Symbol Blue: Lesya - Jaina Theory Of Coloured Destiny

The 'soul' metaphysics in Jainism has a very interesting colour-coded concept called the Lesya . According to Jainism, Lesya is determined by the adherence of karmic matter to the jiva or soul, resulting from both good and bad actions. This adherence is compared to the way in which particles of dust adhere to a body smeared with oil.

Dream Symbol Blue: Encyclopedia II - Blue - Social class and occupation

Blue may denote the working class, derived from the traditional color of factory uniforms. Blue-collar workers are industrial workers and are often contrasted white-collar office workers. However, in contrast to "blue collar," the phrase "blue blood" is used to mean "from an aristocratic background," because pale, untanned skin–a sign of nobility–allows blue-tinged veins to show through. Several vocations are associated with blue. Law enforcement, and uniformed police, often wear blue uniforms and have become associa ...

Dream Symbol Blue: The Holographic Universe

This very, very exciting article actually gives a scientific theory behind many spiritual viewpoints and spiritual experiences, including enlightenment and the perception of oneness encountered by many people that have had strong spiritual experiences.

It all started 1982 at the University of Paris. A research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century. Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. After this, it didn’t take long before the idea of a holographic universe was created. But the implications of this are truly mind boggling…

Dream Symbol Blue: A Kondh's Love for Life and Dharani

The hill-stream gurgled along impatiently. The old Kondh tribal sat by the stream, both feet dipped into its cold waters. The blue smoke from the homemade pipe he was smoking merged with the blue haze slowly descending from the Niyamgiri hill. Soon he was playing a wistful tune on a slender flute. The music drew me to him and we started talking.

He told me how he lost his wife a year ago. "The tiger dragged her away while she was in the forest. I was so unhappy I wanted to die and leave Dharani Ma (Earth Mother). Then deep inside I knew I can't, unless forced, leave this enchanting world even for a day.
