New Age
Spirituality Dictionary on Apocalypse
Apocalypse Also called Armageddon. From the Greek word apokalypsis, meaning "revelation, disclosure, or unveiling," the term apocalypse refers in the Bible to the final battle in human history through God will judge the world. Central in biblical apocalyptic literature is the Revelation to John (sometimes called The Apocalypse). A common feature of many pseudo-Christian groups is their attempts to predict the date of the apocalypse.

 | | | Dream Symbol Armageddon: Encyclopedia II - Sherry Shriner - BeliefsShe feels the U.S. Government (she calls them omegans [1]), Israeli Zionists, the Kenite serpent seed (she calls them Edomite or Talmudic) Jews, Space aliens, hollow earth dwellers and the Roman Catholic Black Pope and his Jesuit henchmen are all in a nefarious satanic alliance.
She states that Maitreya of Buddhism and that of Bejamin Creme are one and the same, and, along with Saint Germain are false prophets [2] and the Black Pope himself is one Count Hans Van Kolvenbach. | | | Dream Symbol Armageddon: Encyclopedia II - Rapture - HistoryLittle attention was paid to these verses before the Protestant Reformation, and consequently most Christian denominations who have beliefs concerning a "rapture" are those that appeared after the Reformation.
The popularization of the term is associated with teaching of John Nelson Darby and the rise of premillennialism and dispensationalism in the United States at the end of the 19th century.
Among Christians who believe in the Rapture there is substantial debate about Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib or Post-Trib. Critics of Pre-Trib ofte ...

 | | | Dream Symbol Armageddon: Encyclopedia II - Jehovah's Witnesses - OriginsJehovah's Witnesses believe that some time after the death of the last apostle, the Church gradually diverged, in a "Great Apostasy", from the original teachings of Jesus in several major points. Influenced by Restorationism, they believe their faith is a continually improving, imperfect restoration of First Century Christianity. An example in The Watchtower states: "It was the 1900-year-old 'faithful and discreet slave,' [parable--Matthew 24:45] the old Christian congregation, that was entrusted with this precious Kingdom service ... ...

 | | | Dream Symbol Armageddon: Believe It Or Not
I am often astounded at what and why people believe what they do. I am sure that you too have noticed that some people believe in the oddest things. I am more than astounded at how seldom people actually think about their beliefs and how those beliefs impact on the quality of their lives. Believe it or not, your beliefs can actually determine the results you end up with in life ; results like happiness, health and wealth-important things like that.

Christian Theological Dictionary on Eschatology
A
Christian theological definition of Eschatology according to CARM - The Christian
Apologetics & Research Ministry:
" Eschatology The study of the teachings in the Bible concerning the end times, or of the period of time dealing with the return of Christ and the events that follow. Eschatological subjects include the Resurrection, Resurrection, the Rapture, the Tribulation, the Millennium, the Binding of Satan, the Three witnesses, the Final Judgment, Armageddon, and The New Heavens and the New Earth. In the New Testament, eschatological chapters include Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 17, and 2 Thess. 2. In one form or another most of the books of the Bible deal with end-times subjects. But some that are more prominently eschatological are Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Joel, Zechariah, Matthew, Mark, Luke, 2 Thessalonians, and of course Revelation. (See Amillennialism and Premillennialism for more information on views on the millennium.) "

 | | | Dream Symbol Armageddon: Encyclopedia II - Catholic Apostolic Church - Adventist TheologyJohn S. Davenport explained their theology by saying that the changes which attend the Coming of the Lord will not be such as will attract the attention or the gaze of men.
The pending judgments, such as are announced by the seven trumpets - the political, ecclesiastical, and social changes which they involve, will seem to come about as ordinary events in human history, produced by the changes that were working in society.
The rising up of the Antichrist and his full revelation will appear as the outcome of changes of opinion that have been going on fo ...

 | | | Dream Symbol Armageddon: Encyclopedia II - Aerosmith - History
Aerosmith - 1969.
Steven Tyler, the lead vocalist for Aerosmith, was in, amongst others, a band called Chain Reaction (Not to be confused with Chain Reaction that formed in 1976 with future members of The Red Hot Chili Peppers), who recorded a single in 1966 (partly available on Aerosmith's 1991 box release Pandora's Box). He met Joe Perry, who was at the time playing in a band with bassist Tom Hamilton, while Perry was selling french fries (he was mad because he had to clean all the stuff that steven threw to the floor) in 1969, which eventually led to the formation of Aerosmith.

Captain America - Movies.
A 1944 movie serial called Captain America portrayed the hero as a district attorney named Grant Gardner and arbitrarily removed many other important elements of the character, such as his shield and his sidekick, Bucky. The 1966 syndicated animated TV series Marvel Super-Heroes included "Captain America" segments. The primitive animation was largely composed of stills photostatted from Jack Kirby art. There were two unexceptional 1979 TV movies, Captain America and ...

According to the Sutta Pitaka, the "ten moral courses of conduct" will disappear and people will follow the ten amoral concepts of theft, violence, murder, lying, evil speaking, adultery, abusive and idle talk, covetousness and ill will, wanton greed, and perverted lust resulting in skyrocketing poverty and the end of the worldly laws of true dharma.
During the Middle Ages, the span of time was expanded to 5,000 years. Commentators like Buddhaghosa predicted a step-b ...
