- Wheat
Wheat Wheat is a primordial basic food. The nature of wheat is such that it has been given symbolic meaning in mythology and religion. It is considered the fruit of the Earth, a gift of life and the gift of the gods. It is associated with purity, covenant and blessing. It may also be considered the basic food of immortality. In Greek mythology, a single grain of wheat was displayed at the wedding of Zeus and Demeter. Demeter was a great mother, a fertility goddess and was responsible for the seasons. A grain of wheat was symbolic of the cycle of the seasons and the cycle of life. When planted, one grain of wheat produces many on an ear of wheat. As a dream symbol, it may be pointing to your inner "food," or the abundance that the unconscious holds. It may also represent the "plenty" that surrounds you in your daily life. Wheat may symbolize abundance and its ability to continuously regenerate itself. This dream may be a reminder from the unconscious, which tells us that abundance and prosperity is in our nature, as is rebirth of psychological, emotional and spiritual type.

- To see large clear grains of wheat running through the thresher, foretells that prosperity has opened her portals to the fullest for you.
- To see it in sacks or barrels, your determination to reach the apex of success is soon to be crowned with victory and your love matters will be firmly grounded.
- If your granary is not well covered and you see its contents getting wet, foretells that while you have amassed a fortune, you have not secured your rights and you will see your interests diminishing by the hand of enemies.
- If you rub wheat from the head into your hand and eat it, you will labor hard for success and will obtain and make sure of your rights.
- To dream that you climb a steep hill covered with wheat and think you are pulling yourself up by the stalks of wheat, denotes you will enjoy great prosperity and thus be able to distinguish yourself in any chosen pursuit.

Spiritual - Theosophy
Dictionary on
Wheat
Wheat Brought to earth by Lords of Wisdom from other spheres, as were all the grains, and indeed all plants and animals. Yet wheat is said not to be known in the wild state nor to have been developed from any grass. Plato speaks of inventors -- gods and demigods incarnate in human beings -- who appeared successively among the races of mankind after their divine rulers had departed, and discovered fire, wheat, and wine. The kabiri and also Isis are said to have brought wheat, as is Isis. In Egyptian symbology the Osirified defunct becomes Khem, who gleans the field of Aaru -- i.e., "he gleans either his reward or punishment, as that field is the celestial locality (Devachan) where the defunct is given wheat, the food of divine justice" (SD 1:221). In ancient Greece wheat was always associated with Demeter or Ceres (whence the word cereal), and as Demeter was the preeminent goddess of the Mysteries, sheaves of wheat also were associated with the Mysteries. Maize held the same place in ancient America. In the Christian Church wheat is still the food in the bread -- the literal, physical "body of Christ."

Ayurveda Ayurvedic Dictionary on Ritucharya
Ritucharya Given that the term prakriti denotes both body constitution and nature, it is only expected that with the changing seasons of nature there will be corresponding effects on the bhutas and thereby the doshas of the constitution. Cold, dry weather for instance enhances vata, hot humid climate increases pitta, while cold, wet weather aggravates kapha. To avoid such continued aggravation leading to imbalance of the doshas, Ayurveda prescribes a seasonal routine to preserve the doshic balance as the seasons change. For each season therefore, there is a unique diet (ahar), a distinct mode of living (vihara) and routine living (karya). These keep your doshas in a state of equilibrium and help you cope with the stresses and strains of changing seasons. In Ayurvedic literature the year is divided into six ritus (seasons) – varsha (monsoon), sharada (autumn), hemanta (winter), shishira (late winter), girshma (summer) and vasanta (spring). The effects of these ritus on the three doshas and the suggested lifestyle for each is as indicated below: Monsoon: Diet · Digestive power weakens and bodily vata is aggravated. · It is advisable therefore to be moderate in your diet. · Come rains, tuck into astringent, bitter and pungent food along with wheat & rice. · Never forget to boil & cool your water. And if possible, add a little honey. Conduct · Go for oil massages and regular baths. · Do not indulge in daytime sleeping. · Avoid moving in the sun, and excessive physical exercise · Do not indulgence in excessive sex. Autumn: Diet Yummy dishes with astringent, bitter or sweet tastes are for you to enjoy. Have lots of rice, barley, wheat, along with curd, cabbage, cheese, milk. Avoid meat, yoghurt. Conduct · This is the right time to go through purgation & blood letting treatment. (for detail see Panchkarma) · Avoid excessive sunbathing · Do not expose yourself to easterly winds. Winter: Diet · Dig into piping hot, oily, sour & salty food along with rice. Also plenty of cow’s milk & cane juice. · Drink warm water and it will improve your life span. · Avoid light food to pacify vata. Conduct · Don’t expose yourself to cold. · Go for an invigorating oil massage followed by tepid water bath. · Cover your body with sufficient warm wraps · Indulge in intense sexual pleasure. Spring: Diet · Kapha that has already accumulated is liquidified by the heat and disturbs your digestive system. · Avoid heavy, oily, sour & sweet food & drinks that may aggravate kapha. · Take in barley, wheat, rice, scrup, & bitter vegetables. Conduct · Go for vigorous exercises, and oil massages. · Cut down your smoking habit. Summer: Diet · Take in plenty of fluids. Avoid dehydration. · Avoid food with pungent, acid & salt tastes. · Tuck into sweet, cold & oily foods. Meat of birds & animals are good for you. Conduct · Avoid excessive physical exercises & excessive sex. · Avoid sunlight and harmful UV rays. · Enjoy the cool breeze of your garden & fragrance of flowers.

Theosophy Dictionary on Aanroo, Aanre
Aanroo, Aanre (Egyptian) More fully, Sekhet-Aanre (the fields of the reeds); more often called Aarru or Sekhet-Aarru; also Aanru, Aaru. The first region of the Afterworlds (Amenti) reached by the deceased in the afterdeath state, which he enters as a khu. "The second division of Amenti. The celestial field of Aanroo is encircled by an iron wall. The field is covered with wheat, and the 'Defunct' are represented gleaning it, for the 'Master of Eternity'; some stalks being three, others five, and the highest seven cubits high. Those who reached the last two numbers entered the state of bliss (which is called in Theosophy Devachan); the disembodied spirits whose harvest was but three cubits high went into lower regions (Kamaloka). Wheat was with the Egyptians the symbol of the Law of Retribution or Karma. The cubits had reference to the seven, five and three human 'principles' " (TG 1). Beyond Aanroo, in Amenti, are seven halls with guardians, associated with kama-loka by Blavatsky: "Those only of the dead, who know the names of the janitors of the 'seven halls,' will be admitted into Amenti for ever; i.e., those who have passed through the seven races of each round -- otherwise they will rest in the lower fields; and it represents also the seven successive Devachans, or lokas" (SD 1:674n). | | | Dream Interpretation Wheat: The New Children Have Arrived - Caring For Your Indigo Child
Many have asked; what or who are these Indigo Children and how can I help my child, my grandchild, or the student in my class who seems to be one? Indigo Children are head strong and heart smart. They do not want to do it your way, and often have creative or non- conformist ways of doing things. Many are labeled ADD/ ADHD because of their tendency for activity, inattention and doing things fast. Some have past life recall, trouble sleeping, night terrors, and can "see" or hear things at home especially at night. They have extreme emotional, physical, and spiritual sensitivities that make them "fussy" eaters, "different" from other kids in their class and avoidant of loud noise, people's energy, and touch sensitive. Some days they will be happy, and then, after being around other children, they can have a huge emotional meltdown, angry outburst, or tantrum.

Beltane - May 1 or May DayBeltane
is celebrated on May 1st and is one of the original Celtic festivals. Beltane
or May Day is also known as the Lover's holiday. Beltane is one of the four
Celtic Fire festivals, and is probably the second most important festival next
to Samhain. Beltane is primarily a sun festival and was performed during the
day. The most important part of Beltane was the kindling of the fires. The
Irish Celts would extinguish their fires the night before and would eat a cold
meal to insure that all fires were out. Then they would attend the ceremony,
returning with an ember to once more start their fires.
