Dictionary - Teeth
Teeth 1. False or disembodied teeth portend the breakdown of an important relationship in the dreamer's life—not necessarily a romantic one. 2. If the dreamer dreams of aching teeth, this could be a warning of future health problems, possibly involving the teeth but not necessarily. White and beautiful teeth, on the contrary, portend health and happiness. 3. Broken or decayed teeth imply the need for repair in some department of the dreamer's life. Look to other symbols in the dream to judge which one. 4. Dreaming of brushing your teeth implies making major and positive changes in your life. Astrological parallel: Saturn. - Teeth Teeth Dreams about teeth and losing teeth are common. Often the dream is troubling, although it does not contain the same fear or anxiety as a nightmare. In the dream, the teeth often are a concern only to the dreamer. Other characters in the dream either do not notice, or do not care, about the loose teeth. A 19-year-old woman reports: I am in the bedroom combing my hair. A man comes in and asks me if I am in a relationship. I say no. Then, he asks me out on a date. I say yes. He is about to kiss me and I ask him to hold that thought for a second. I go to freshen up a bit. When I wipe my mouth, my teeth begin falling out! Each tooth I touch falls out. No bleeding, just empty spaces in my mouth. I go back out of the bathroom, concerned, but the man doesn't notice. Meanwhile, I'm a wreck. In waking life, the woman reports feeling conflicted about ending a relationship with a man. She would like to renew it. Potential embarrassment is preventing her from doing so. Dreams of losing teeth are often dreams of embarrassment or potentially embarrassing situations. The parallel waking experience could be summed up in the phrase "losing face" publicly. Other possible teeth-loss dreams may come from physical sensations such as grinding your teeth or having particularly sensitive teeth. Do your teeth get knocked out or do they fall out for no apparent reason? | | | Dream Interpretation Teeth: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Loosing Teeth in a Dream Teeth : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Loosing Teeth in a Dream LOSING TEETH IN A DREAM Did you know that this is a very common dream? In fact various theories of interpretation have been put forward for this. It is a dream where you suddenly find that you do not have teeth, or that they keep falling out, suddenly. Certainly bizarre, this dream can be interpreted as a readiness for change. - Just as you lose milk teeth while moving from child to adulthood, so also this dream is telling you that it is time for a massive change in your attitude to life, or asking you to adapt yourself to new circumstances. This is one of the classical interpretations.
- At a more ground level, it could just mean that you are insecure about certain aspects, or
- It could just mean you are afraid of losing your teeth!

 | | | Dream Interpretation Teeth: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Teeth falling out Teeth falling out : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Teeth falling out Your teeth falling out Many people have dreams that they lose all of their teeth. In this dream, they may feel something strange in their mouth and then spit teeth into their hand, eventually losing all of their teeth. According to some, our teeth are related to our sense of power and our ability to communicate. Losing our teeth not only makes us embarrassed by our appearance, which hinders our communications, but it also lessens our power because we may not speak our minds. It's also associated with feelings about our appearance. | | | Dream Interpretation Teeth: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Teeth Falling Out Teeth Falling Out : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Teeth Falling Out Teeth One of the most common dreams I hear is dreaming of teeth falling out or decaying. There are several associations I make with this:- On the most basic level - have you had toothache? Are you due for a visit to the dentist? The body is very aware of it's state of health and the subconscious can pass this information on in a dream Teeth Falling Out Are you going through a period of change in your life? When we are children, we lose our milk teeth as we begin to mature. The ritualising of this is seen in the story of the tooth fairy. Losing milk teeth is a sure sign of growing into our own personality. Anxiety. Teeth are the strongest visible part of the body and therefore if they crumble, decay or come loose, it can imply that our very foundations seem to be crumbling. It can also be seen as losing your smile. Emphasis on decay may show that you feel something important in your life is "dying". Gaining Teeth Gaining Wisdom. | | | Dream Interpretation Teeth: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Teeth falling out Teeth falling out : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Teeth falling out TEETH: My most popular requests for dream interpretation are by far, dreams about teeth falling out. Apparently this is quite disturbing to people who have this dream...they simply MUST know what it means! In my experience, a dream about one's teeth falling out usually symbolizes that the dreamer is having a challenge getting their voice heard, or feelings acknowledged. This may be referring to their conversations with a particular person such as their significant other, boss, or friend; or can be generalized for people who are shy, to include almost everyone they come in contact with. The dreamer needs to brush up on conversational skills, believe in the value of their own opinion, learn how to be less intimidated by aggressive people, and become more assertive and make their voice heard. Once they do that, this dream (which is a common recurring dream) should evolve & show improvement...or disappear altogether. Although most people I hear from seem to find the above interpretation of the teeth theme fits their situation, there have been a few who think it's not quite right for them. I received the following email from a savvy visitor who eloquently shared with me what she believes the symbol means for her, and I think it's so good that I want to share it with all of you. Dream symbols must be personalized for each individual person, so general interpretations don't always fit the bill, like I've said repeatedly throughout this site. Please remember this, and remember to interpret your entire dream's context and not just an isolated symbol. Here is Katie's account of her experience, in her own words: Your site is great. I noted with interest your interpretation on teeth falling out, which is the same interpretation that many others use as well (needing to be heard etc etc.) I myself had this dream repeatedly and, as you noted, was dying to know what it meant as it was always disturbing. I was always unsatisfied with the "needing to be heard" thing. You might note that many people who have this dream are feeling worried, dismayed or horrifed as their teeth are falling out painlessly, sometimes even attempting to keep the teeth from falling out. Finally I came across a different interpretation, which fitted much better, for me, in fact, the dreams lessened. so I thought you might be interested. For me, the dream means I am talking TOO MUCH. It means indiscretion, telling secrets, gossiping unwisely. and its my subconscious warning me. Now, if I have this dream, I know I have been unwise with my big mouth! Trying to cram the teeth back in, or stop them falling out, or trying to find a dentist, is literally trying to stop the words/gossip from coming out, and the feelings of dismay are mirroring the regret of being too revealing - usually to an enemy. I am much more aware of this now (and not such a big mouth!) Maybe you could add this to your interpretations. - K Source: http://dreamemporium.com (See also: Dream Interpretation, Dream Dictionary, Meaning of Dreams, Dream Interpretation Teeth falling out, Dream Dictionary Teeth falling out)
