Karma yoga is the yoga of action or work; specifically, karma yoga is the path of dedicated work: renouncing the results of our actions as a spiritual offering rather than hoarding the results for ourselves.

Karma is both action and the result of action. What we experience today is the result of our karma--both good and bad--created by our previous actions. This chain of cause and effect that we ourselves have created can be snapped by karma yoga: fighting fire with fire, we use the sword of karma yoga to stop the chain reaction of cause and effect.

Aswamedha-:

Aswamedha-(yajna): Horse sacrifice (BV-4), (BV-5), (RRV-7a).

 - A Vedic horse sacrifice; At the end of life or a period of government of a king, a horse with a plaque around his neck is sent out into the kingdom accompanied by an army; Anyone who challenges the honor of the king will be disputed.

 - Method to separate from wordly detachment and status.

Hippocentaurs (from Greek hippos horse + kentauros centaur)

Centaurs said to be half man, half horse. The prefix hippo distinguishes them from another kind of monster, the ichthyscentaurus -- half man, half fish. They are among the monsters resulting from nature's unaided attempts to create in the early stages of evolution.

Aswamedha (Sanskrit) The Horse-sacrifice; an ancient Brahmanical ceremony.

Arwaker (Scandianvian Norse). Lit., "early waker". The horse of the chariot of the Sun driven by the maiden Sol, in the Eddas.

PEGASUS

The flying horse of Greek mythology. An important symbol representing the transition from one plane to another. Meditation on the Greek myth itself will shed some light on the means of transition between planes. Pegasus was born of the blood of the decapitated Medusa, and mounting the Medusa's head upon Pegasus enabled Bellerophon to slay the Chimera. Since the Medusa was death, Perseus could "overcome" her only by looking at her image in a mirror.

Haya:

HAGSTONE: A holed stone that symbolizes the Goddess and her Divine Femininity. Often used by prudent Farriers after having a piece of string run through the holed stone and being attached to the door of the stable with the express purpose being to keep the horses within from being hag-ridden. Can also have additional oneiric uses.

*Hang up hooks and shears to scare

Hence the hag that rides the mare,

Till they be all over wet

With the mire and the sweat.

Uchchaishravas: The name of Indra's horse (or the horse of the Sun god, Surya), that was born of the amrita that was churned from the ocean by the gods. The name means "high-sounding" and refers to the power of mantra.

Kalki Avatar (Sanskrit). The "White Horse Avatar", which will be the last manvantaric incarnation of Vishnu, according to the Brahmins; of Maitreya Buddha, agreeably to Northern Buddhists; of Sosiosh, the last hero and Saviour of the Zoroastrians, as claimed by Parsis ; and of the "Faithful and True" on the white Horse (Rev. xix.,2 ).

In his future epiphany or tenth avatar, the heavens will open and Vishnu will appear "seated on a milk-white steed, with a drawn sword blazing like a comet, for the final destruction of the wicked, the renovation of ‘creation’ and the ‘restoration of purity’". (Compare Revelation.)

This will take place at the end of the Kaliyuga 427,000 years hence. The latter end of every Yuga is called "the destruction of the world", as then the earth changes each time its outward form, submerging one set of continents and upheaving another set.
