At one level, we are nothing more than a bundle of squiggly energy. Everything in our universe at its essence is comprised of an electro-magnetic vibration: sky, tree, table, computer, moon and you. Scientists will verify that we are vibrational creatures living in a vibrational universe. As we become more aware of how we interact with and shape the other vibrations around us, we will begin to see how we create the events in our lives. I believe that understanding how to work with the vibrations that make up our world is one of the major reasons we're here.

Two objections still remain to be examined, the only ones really deserving of the name, because they are the only ones founded on a rational basis. Both admit the reality of the material and moral phenomena of Spiritism, but deny the intervention of spirits in their production.

In Kant and the Platypus , Umberto Eco squares his shoulders and takes on the problem of pure being. For pure being is not just a problem, it is the problem in philosophy in that it underlies everything, including problems, philosophers and platypuses. Or should it be platypi? Even the question mark to a dubious lingual entity which does not really 'exist' has to have being, even if it is in the form of a being which we call 'non-existence'.
