YogaWhile in recent years
the word "yoga" has been heard more in gyms than in religious
discourse, "yoga" in its original sense has little to do with
exercise. "Yoga" comes from the Sanskrit verb yuj, to yoke or
unite. The goal of yoga is to unite oneself with God; the practice of yoga is
the path we take to accomplish this.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary schools: The Vedanta Schools of PhilosophyThe Sutras or
aphorisms of Vyasa are the basis of the Vedanta philosophy. These Sutras have
been variously explained by different commentators. From these interpretations
have arisen several schools of philosophy: Kevala Advaita philosophy of Sri
Sankaracharya the philosophy of Qualified Monism or Visishtadvaita of Sri
Ramanujacharya, the Dvaita philosophy of Sri Madhvacharya, the Bhedabheda
philosophy of Sri Nimbarkacharya, the Suddha Advaita philosophy of Sri
Vallabhacharya, the Achintya Bhedabheda philosophy of Sri Chaitanya and the
Siddhanta philosophy of Sri Meykandar.
Each system of
philosophy treats of three main problems: God, world and soul. The several
schools of philosophy are only different attempts at discovering the Truth.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary schools: Karma YogaKarma Yoga - The Yoga of Action
Karma yoga joins both the physical and
mental aspects of Hindu philosophy to produce a single concept. It believes
that the present relies on the past and that in turn, with your actions, you
can alter the future. Selflessness is a primary requirement for karma practice.
Steering your actions towards the good Ð saying good, thinking good, doing good
will all facilitate selflessness. Acting this way eliminates egoistic and
negative behaviour and enables you to influence your destiny.

| | | | Dream Dictionary schools: And Now for a School that is Completely Different
Think back to your grade school experience. Did you look forward to school? Did you truly enjoy school? Did you feel that what you were learning was meaningful and relevant to your life? Were you able to explore your true interests and fully develop your innate abilities? If you answered "no" to any of the above questions, how would your school experience have had to be different for you to be able to say "yes"? Now, imagine if you had attended a school where the only curriculum you followed was the one you created by discovering and exploring your interests. Imagine if you were not tested unless you asked to be. Imagine if electing your teachers was a normal yearly affair. And imagine if it all happened in a respectful, democratic community.

| | | | | | | | | | Dream Dictionary schools: Kundalini
YogaKundalini Yoga Ð In this style of
yoga, the spine is regarded as a snake. It was brought to the West by Yogi
Bhajan in the late 1960s. The practice concentrates on releasing the Kundalini
energy which is found at the base of the spine. Kundalini Yoga includes a
series of classic poses and chanting. The emphasis however, is not on the Asana
but on the chanting. Spiritual transformation is the main aim of practice.

| | | | Dream Dictionary schools: Why sexuality?Tantra: Why sexuality?
In the act of
lovemaking the couple embodies the dyadic wholeness of the Supreme. TANTRIC
sexual union resonates with the very foundational energies of the Universe: it
captures, magnifies and re-directs the essential Cosmic Power of Life. It is
therefore not by chance that sexual intercourse brings the most intense
emotional experience that the human being can have while in the flesh.
Therefore TANTRA uses it predominantly to create that overwhelming unifying
energy. The erotic impulse stirs up the KUNDALINI energy so that it can rise,
through the subtle duct of power along the spine, to the highest center of
power above the head. This process renders the adept immortal:

Svaroopa Yoga. It introduces alternative ways of doing familiar poses with deep
emphasis on the spine. It aims to open the spine by developing gentle movement
from the tailbone right through to the top of the spine. It is another style of

healing properties.

| | | | Dream Dictionary schools: New Alternative Schools for Children
What is this? This statement will serve dual purpose. It is for those who might be interested in creating, manifesting, and establishing an alternative school in their area. This can serve as a simplified outline to support or inspire your Vision and goals. It is also for those who might be interested in working in this New School environment and/or who are dissatisfied with the current situation presented and forced upon children labeled as 'education', and whom have not found a school which offers education, a nurturing/supportive environment and assist s their children in consciousness reality. Children have never fit into the 1950's model for education, and certainly not the model of strict thinking and behavior of the era prior to the 1950's. It is now Time, with the Shift of Consciousness fully present, with the obvious deterioration of life systems around us, our realization that there is no such thing anymore as "weather patterns" and all will be intensifying, and that our world is experiencing vast and intense change in the land and in the ability to live in the manner we have grown accustomed, it is with these in focus, I present the following information.

Its first mention in text is reported to be 220 B.C. It is, however, relatively
new to non-Chinese speaking Americans. So let us explore what Feng Shui is
exactly.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary schools: Why We Need to Get Connected to God
Yoga is now a universally sought-out medium and spirituality as a subject has become part of the curriculum of leading B-schools in the US. What is the reason for the resurgence of spirituality? There are three interpretations: One school cites that in the modern era an organisation needs to innovate continuously to survive for which every individual stakeholder in the organisation needs to leverage his creative energy by connecting to God's own creative energy. The other school feels that the sudden eruption of numerous corporate scandals worldwide is due to the lack of an appropriate value system. Hence the need to incorporate spirituality in the business curriculum apart from outlining the need for an evolution in the field of corporate governance.

| | | | Dream Dictionary schools: Remote Viewing Education Students often
ask how they can become involved in psi research and what educational courses
they can pursue to become employed in the field. I often have to disappoint
them. As mentioned elsewhere, actual funding for parapsychology in America has
been abysmal. Private sponsors have kept the field afloat, but more and more
research groups are disappearing.
