Havan is a procedure of eradicating inner imperfections prevalent in our being. This procedure has all the healing techniques incorporated in it beautifully. It is a rare combination of accupressure, touch healing, meditation, psychiatry, knowledge and wisdom. It is a perfect amalgamation of thought and procedure. ÔTruth always conquers.' Truth is being one on three planes of thought, word and deed. To understand truth, to be truthful, and to become a reflection of truth, havan is a vedic procedure. It is a step towards a completely healthy body, mind and soul. In reality it is the only way to cleanse the body, mind and soul to ignite soul power.

Japanese Thought - ShintoismShinto: The Way of Kami in
Japanese Thought
Japanese culture has been influenced
by two spiritual traditions, Shinto or Shintoism and Buddhism. Shinto is
Japan's ancient indigenous religion which evolved over hundreds of years.
When Buddhism took roots in the sixth
century Shinto existed more as a way of life, realised by the people in their
natural surroundings, rather than as an organised religion. Shinto shaped both
the spiritual as well as material aspects of Japanese lifestyle. Japanese
culture, psyche and ethos are so closely intertwined with Shinto that it can be
called the national religion.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Purity: Samanya DharmaSamanya Dharma
is the general Dharma or law for all men. Varnasrama Dharmas are special
Dharmas which are to be practised by particular castes and by men in particular
stages of life. The Samanya Dharmas must be practised by all, irrespective of
distinctions of Varna and Asrama, creed or colour. Goodness is not the property
of any one class, creed, sect or community. Every man should possess this
virtue.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Purity: Staying in the light
White light is the mind's symbol of all things great and creative. Light is the source of life, it creates life and maintains life. White light is a symbolic interpretation of God and love. It also represents purity and healing. It is believed that imagining white light within us, radiating out from us, and being connected to us, will instruct the mind to be aligned with love, life, healing and creation. By being still and visualising white light, we are able to activate our own emotions to generate love and lightness. This again gets back to what we think and feel. Which in turn attracts us to that, which is compatible or similar.

| | | | | | Dream Dictionary Purity: Yoga
Sadhanas for Kundalini AwakeningOne should become perfectly desireless and
should be full of Vairagya before attempting to awaken Kundalini. It can be
awakened only when a man rises above Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada and other impurities. Kundalini
can be awakened through rising above desires of the senses. The Yogi, who has
got a pure heart and a mind free from passions and desires will be benefited by
awakening Kundalini. If a man with a lot of impurities in the mind awakens the
Sakti by sheer force through Asanas, Pranayamas and Mudras, he will break his
legs and stumble down.

Yoga" by Sri Swami Sivananda

Thought-cultureWhen you sit for meditation thoughts of
your friends and office work, memory of conversation that took place in the
previous evening with your friends and relatives will disturb your mind and
cause distraction. You will have to withdraw the mind again and again,
cautiously from these extraneous worldly thoughts and fix it again and again in
your Lakshya or point.

| | | | | | Dream Dictionary Purity: Flight Of The Alone
Being alone with yourself and understanding yourself is a way to peace. Man, as he is and as he lives, is a crowd. He appears to be a single unit, but in reality, a crowd of people lives in him: all his relationships exist in him at the same time. So when he enters within himself, images of all his different relationships come floating to him. At no point is he able to feel himself in entirety, in purity Ð just himself. This situation continues through his whole life. Sometimes, in the next life too. He carries with him this load of memories and images Ð that's what makes him a crowd.

| | | | | | | | Dream Dictionary Purity: The Four Paths of Hindu YogaThe four main
spiritual paths for God-realisation are Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga and
Jnana Yoga. Karma Yoga is suitable for a man of active temperament, Bhakti Yoga
for a man of devotional temperament, Raja Yoga for a man of mystic temperament,
and Jnana Yoga for a man of rational and philosophical temperament, or a man of
enquiry.
Mantra Yoga,
Laya Yoga or Kundalini Yoga, Lambika Yoga and Hatha Yoga, are other Yogas. Yoga,
really, means union
with God. The practice
of Yoga leads to communion with the Lord. Whatever may be the starting point,
the end reached is the same.

The Hindu Godess Mother SaraswathiMOTHER
SARASWATHI
The presiding Deity over Creation and Dissolution
Mother
Saraswathi, is divine knowledge personified, the embodiment of knowledge of the
Absolute. The sound of Her celestial veena awakens the notes of the sublime
utterances of the Upanishads which reveal the Truth, and the sacred
monosyllable, Om. She bestows the knowledge of the supreme, mystic sound and
then gives full knowledge of the Self as represented by Her pure, dazzling snow-white
apparel. Therefore, to propitiate Saraswathi, the giver of knowledge, is the
third stage.

Sivananda.
