Where is your brother, God asked, at the beginning of Biblical history. The original context was that of bloodshed: Brother killing brother, which is what every murder really is. Within the vision of vasudaiva kutumbakam , can anyone, even the most abhorred enemy, be less than a brother? The Cain-Abel story provides deep insight into religion-related tensions: First, it is in the context of religion that brother kills brother. The very purpose of religion is being largely misunderstood. The purpose of religion is to enable us to be keepers rather than killers of each other, protectors rather than predators of life and nature. The ascendancy of vested interests in religion, however, degrades it into a licence for murder and mayhem, as has happened in the history of all religions.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary human body: Encyclopedia II - Gray Wolf - Past human perceptions of wolvesThe relationship between people and wolves has had a very long and turbulent history. Traditionally, humans have viewed wolves negatively, perceiving them to be dangerous or as nuisances to be destroyed.
European folklore exacerbated this negative image, which was brought over to North America as it was settled. During this time, the wilderness was perceived as something to be conquered, settled, and cultivated, as through Manifest Destiny or by man's inherent worldly right. Wolves, for a time, were partially valued for their fur, but ...

Havan is a procedure of eradicating inner imperfections prevalent in our being. This procedure has all the healing techniques incorporated in it beautifully. It is a rare combination of accupressure, touch healing, meditation, psychiatry, knowledge and wisdom. It is a perfect amalgamation of thought and procedure. ÔTruth always conquers.' Truth is being one on three planes of thought, word and deed. To understand truth, to be truthful, and to become a reflection of truth, havan is a vedic procedure. It is a step towards a completely healthy body, mind and soul. In reality it is the only way to cleanse the body, mind and soul to ignite soul power.

| | | | Dream Dictionary human body: Encyclopedia II - Penis removal - Human penis removal in medicine and psychologySome men have penile amputations, known as penectomies, for medical reasons. Cancer, for example, sometimes necessitates removal of all or part of the penis. In very rare instances, botched childhood circumcisions have also resulted in full or partial penectomies.
Genital surgical procedures for transwomen (transgendered or transsexual women) undergoing sex reassignment surgery, do not usually involve the complete removal of the penis; part or all of the glans is usually kept and reshaped as a clitoris, and the skin of the penile shaf ...

| | | | Dream Dictionary human body: Mandala as Symbol of the UniverseMandala, which literally means circle, largely
associated with religions and cults of India and Tibet, was also used as a
potent symbol by the American Indians, the original inhabitants of Central
America, and by the aborigines of Australia.
Across cultures, the universe is represented as a
series of concentric circles, maybe as a model of the solar system. In Tantra,
the central point represents Mount Meru around which the earth is situated, and
the concentric circles represent the cosmic aspects of the universe, like
energy fields and atmospheric zones. In Hindu and Buddhist interpretations, the
centre of the Mandala is the ultimate divine principle uniting the object and
the subject as they spin out of the centre. This may refer to the cosmos or to
the human body.

It is a subject of much research in philosophy of mind, psychology, neurology, and cognitive science.
Some philosophers divide consciousness into phenomenal consciousness, which is experience itself, and access consciousness, which is the processing of the things in experience (Block 2004). Others consider ...

| | | | Dream Dictionary human body: Encyclopedia II - Death - Interpretations of deathIn almost all societies, death has one or several symbols associated with it. Common symbols of death in Western cultures include the grim reaper and the color black; conversely, in certain Eastern cultures, the color white is considered symbolic of death. The grave is a metonym for death.
Biologically, death can occur to wholes, to parts, or to both. For example, it is possible for individual cells and even organs to die, and yet for the organism as a whole to continue to live; many individual cells live for only a short time, and so most of an organism's cells (except for nerve and muscle) are ...

Fresh water aquifers, especially those with limited recharge by meteoric water, can be over-exploited and, depending on the local hydrogeology, may draw in non-potable water or saltwater (saltwater intrusion) from hydraulically connected aquifers or surface water bodies. This can be a serious problem especially in coasta ...

| | | | Dream Dictionary human body: Encyclopedia II - Numerology - Esoteric significance of numbersThe following summarizes the beliefs of some modern numerologists.
The association of various meanings to specific numbers in the time of the European Renaissance, when numbers were worked into the detailed fabric of musical, poetic, & architectural artifice, was both far richer and far more precise than the modern summaries offered here.
Numbers 0 to 10 are used in present-day numerology to determine character analysis and predict upcoming trends. Other numbers are thought to carry vibrational influences which must also be taken into consideration, as must also the connection of astrol ...
