A devotee asked Ramakrishna Parmahansa : "Sir, is God real and can I see Him?" Ramakrishna replied: "Yes, God is real. I see Him just as I see you or any other object around me." The devotee continued: "Can I also see Him as you do?" Said the sage: "Yes, you can, if the intensity of your longing for God is equal to the intensity of a drowning man longing for fresh air; or the intensity of a mother longing for the life of her only child in the grip of serious illness; or of the miser longing for more wealth. If your longing for God is at least a fraction of the longing which Radha had for Krishna, then you will see God." The miracle of healing, is simply the body offering the subconscious mind's 'knowledge of perfect health' when the questioning nature of the conscious mind is silenced. Real faith is about things happening in the present. If it is hundred per cent faith, it must happen.

| | | | | | | Dream Dictionary Eternity: Faith: Staircase to God
Yours faithfully - A letter ends there. However, faith is the beginning of the human quest for self-discovery and the Absolute. Faith can be neither forced nor taught; it is an experience that transcends trust, reason, belief and ideology. Belief in religious scripture confines the mind; the trust we repose in an individual, too, is a limiting factor. The intellect can only too often weave a cobweb of theories, and reason can cause mistrust, taking us away from discovering the great scope and depth of an infinite power that's faith, that can otherwise serve as an effective spiritual guide.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Eternity: Encyclopedia II - Time travel in fiction - LiteratureTime travel can form the central theme of a book, or can be a plot device. The first widely-published story to feature time travel was probably the short story The Clock That Went Backward, written anonymously, which appeared in the New York Sun in 1881. A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1889) by Mark Twain may be the first example of time travel in literature. The Time Machine (1895) by H. G. | | | | Dream Dictionary Eternity: Encyclopedia - AeonThe Latin word aeon, also spelled eon or æon, means "forever" or "for eternity". It is derived from the Greek word αίών (aion), which at one point meant "a period of existence" or "life".
In geology, the word eon quantitatively refers to a period of time of 1,000,000,000 years. However, geologists refer to the period in which animals evolved into abundance as the Phanerozoic Eon, which has only lasted 545 million years, to the present day.

In the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions, entry into Heaven depends upon the Christian receiving God's grace through the activities of the church. This would include sacraments such as Baptism, the Eucharist and Confession. Roman Catholics believe that entering Purgatory after death ...
