Consciousness is beauty and Creation is an expression of consciousness. Beauty is present in all creation. Eastern philosophy believes beauty is the nature of things, while western thought sees it as perception. Perhaps beauty is both subjective and objective. The East emphasises subjectivity; it sees beauty as the nature of existence - as Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram, an objective phenomenon. In the West, where objectivity is emphasised, beauty is seen as a subjective phenomenon. But as the old proverb goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty bridges the subject-object divide.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Infinite Power of The SubconsciousOur bodies create the illusion that we are separate.
This illusion is further reinforced by modern science and technology, which is
based on the Cartesian-Newton paradigm, which posited a division between mind
and matter and led to a view of the universe as a mechanical system consisting
of separate objects.
This view fostered life in society as a competitive
struggle for existence and the belief in unlimited material progress to be
achieved through economic and technological growth. Modern physics and quantum
mechanics are now discovering what the mystics of the East have long known Ñ
the basic oneness of the universe.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Do Not Be Driven by Sentiment
Why are wars waged? Why are some conflicts never resolved? All fanaticism, militancy, terrorism and war are flashpoints of ativada. An ativadi is one who carries an opinion, viewpoint, argument or a case of grievance to excess. That's why sages have said: Ati sarvatra varjayet - avoid excesses everywhere. No case or argument is strong enough to be an excuse for excess, for breaking peace. A mantra in the Mundaka Upanishad says: "It is one and the same life-force that shines forth as all these beings. One who realises this never becomes an ativadi" (3.1.4).

| | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: A Bouquet of Thoughts for Weekend Cheer
A flower, a thing of beauty, brings joy - but not forever. Soon, it withers and dies. Its transience helps us to understand the value we attach to flowers. Their ephemeral qualities, their fragility and vulnerability, make flowers precious. Flowers are transient like life itself. In all creation, change is eternal. This and their sensory qualities, particularly colour and scent, have made flowers popular as a universally loved symbol of greeting and felicitation. Whether traditionally worn in the hair of women, in the cap of a Himachali farmer or in the buttonhole of a gentleman's tuxedo, flowers are the ultimate in personal adornment, their freshness, unsullied purity and natural perfection enhance the celebratory spirit of the wearer.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: The Wavelength Of Celestial Sound
In most religious scriptures, Shabd or the Word is referred to as the creator of the universe. It is a current from the ocean of pure consciousness that is characterised by ethereal and sublime sound vibration. It is the all-pervading manifestation of God, the radiant sound current, and it is the connecting link between God and His creation. All the powers of nature depend on and work through Shabd.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Hinduism DharmaDharma
Dharma is a very complicated word, for which there is no
equivalent word in any other language, including English. Dharma actually means
that which upholds this entire creation. It is a Divine law that is inherent
and invisible, but responsible for all existence. Dharma exists in all planes,
in all aspects and at all levels of creation. In the context of human life,
dharma consists of all that an individual undertakes in harmony with Divine
expectations and his own inner spiritual aspirations, actions that would ensure
order and harmony with in himself and in the environment in which he lives.

| | | | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Beyond the Last Blue Mountain
Traditionally, going on a tirtha or pilgrimage is believed to present an ideal occasion for soul-searching. The more arduous the journey, the greater the opportunity to reflect. A yatra is a good time - when the temporal and the timeless meet - to try and expand our understanding of our own selves and the Absolute. This is the spirit of the annual pilgrimage to the hallowed cave-shrine of Amarnath.

Of Our UniverseInfinity: The
Infinite Nature Of Our Universe
Infinite translated in Sanskrit is anant
which means 'without end'. Mathematically speaking, infinity is an
indeterminate quantity and has two values - one positive and the other,
negative. In Sanskrit these values are described as anaadi
and anant , that is, without beginning and
without end. Any discussion on this topic can only reveal human ignorance and
so humble and inspire us to becoming better human beings.

Imagine a
culture thousands of years ago, a great civilisation known as Indus. So
advanced was the culture, that they had superior architecture, engineering,
education and commerce. Above all, it was a spiritual place where all living
creatures were respected and the vulnerable were protected, even the animals.
He who regards kindness to humanity as the supreme religion and
treats his patients accordingly, succeeds best in achieving the aims of life
and obtains the greatest happiness.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Staying in the light
White light is the mind's symbol of all things great and creative. Light is the source of life, it creates life and maintains life. White light is a symbolic interpretation of God and love. It also represents purity and healing. It is believed that imagining white light within us, radiating out from us, and being connected to us, will instruct the mind to be aligned with love, life, healing and creation. By being still and visualising white light, we are able to activate our own emotions to generate love and lightness. This again gets back to what we think and feel. Which in turn attracts us to that, which is compatible or similar.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: The Spiritual Sword Of Self-denial
Where is your brother, God asked, at the beginning of Biblical history. The original context was that of bloodshed: Brother killing brother, which is what every murder really is. Within the vision of vasudaiva kutumbakam , can anyone, even the most abhorred enemy, be less than a brother? The Cain-Abel story provides deep insight into religion-related tensions: First, it is in the context of religion that brother kills brother. The very purpose of religion is being largely misunderstood. The purpose of religion is to enable us to be keepers rather than killers of each other, protectors rather than predators of life and nature. The ascendancy of vested interests in religion, however, degrades it into a licence for murder and mayhem, as has happened in the history of all religions.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Are There Cosmic Causes and Cures for All Evils? How did evilness enter the world? According to the author SC Varma, at the start or genesis of universe, there was only one almighty God, the brahman , the cosmic soul (parmatma). After many yugs (eras) of being alone and blissful, he thought of becoming many from one and said: eko hum, bahu syami (in sanskrit it means, I am one, let me be many). And with this concept (sankalp) alone, the ball of duality and multiplicity of creation started rolling, and still is rolling on. This article gives an exciting background from the vedic viewpoint on how pain, misery, conflicts and problems originated. | | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Illusion And Reality
Non-dualism is the highest Vedantic truth. Only Brahman exists. The pluralistic world as we experience it is merely a figment of the imagination. An illusion. At the highest level Vedanta does not encourage any discussion on the nature of the world and its cause. That would merely be emphasising the reality of something which does not exist. It focuses on the direct experience of Reality.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: THE CREATIVE PROCESS - We are Creators and The Law of Creation
In this Article we will review these points: o We are immersed in and responsible for the creative process, which dictates the outcome of our individual and collective lives in every moment. o We talk about how the greatest secret in the world is that you and I are incredibly powerful and aware creators. o We note that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. o We talk about the Law of creation and how it works equally for everyone without judgement. o We agree that our world is exactly what we collectively design it to be -- all of the time and that our universe operates as if we knew that we were powerful creators. o We reveal that our world expects that we know that what we think and say is what we create and what we get. o We note that God has not left us, but the reality is that we have left God! o We show that the time has finally come for us to wake up! o We suggest that the prerequisite for conscious creation is that we must have a strong belief if we are to be effective creators and that this strong belief is called "Faith."

| | | | Dream Dictionary Creation: Meditation on Impermanence
Everything in the universe is impermanent. Like the waves in the sea that ascend and descend, so to creation is made up of electromagnetic and subtler forces that are seemingly being created and then dissipating. The manifest existence as we know it, finds one level of its source in the molecular structure nourished by God's love where change is not so clearly obvious. However, on the more perceptible plane, humans change, our thoughts change, our desires change, seasons change, our relationships change, as also do the forms of inanimate objects: vehicles that break down, walls that crack, stones that break; not to mention the shapes of the clouds in the sky and the positions of the planets and the stars.
