The recent killings in the land of the Mahatma, the apostle of peace and non- violence, raises a very serious question. Is human consciousness being governed by the tenets of a few religious texts or is it capable of transcending all barriers for the sake of universal brotherhood? Christians have killed Jews. Jews and Muslims are fighting all the time. Hindus have a long history of wars going back to the time of the Mahabharata. Despite the advancement of science, people continue to fight on national, religious or racial criteria.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Forgiveness and Self-ForgivenessThe act of self-forgiveness changes the energy
and physical structures of your cells, and of your DNA. Guilt is a very
powerful and deadening emotion. Guilt in itself can, as it were, close down the
energy systems of your body, and thereby lessen, and in extreme cases, cut off
the flow of Divine Energy and Love to the body entirely. Because each and every
one of your cells has consciousness, they too can carry the essence and energy
of guilt within them that makes their energy denser.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Learning To Take A Back Seat
Some people are compulsive exhibitionists. You can find them almost anywhere; they would do anything to get noticed. At a wedding, they want to be the bride and at a funeral, the corpse. Julius Caesar, who was an incorrigible egotist, was kidnapped when he was a child. He was held for a ransom of 11,000 gold pieces. Horrified, he exhorted his captors to raise the ransom amount to 2,50,000 gold pieces so as to preserve his prestige!

| | | | | | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Leadership is About Taking Decisions
Whatever we are today is the direct consequence of choices we made and decisions we took. Our karma cannot be shared. It is non-transferable. Leadership, and indeed life itself, is primarily about making decisions. Events such as the recent Indo-Pak goodwill cricket series bring into focus the indivisibility of leadership decisions and its consequences thereof.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Talking Board BasicsA
wide range of experiences has been reported with "Ouija" or
"talking boards." Like anything in life, the result you get will
depend upon your intentions and expectations going in. Opening up to other
dimensions via such a medium is a bit like walking a tightrope. An innocent who
doesn't know enough to be afraid may sail across the rope just like it was two
feet off the ground. A mature and responsible adult may find the experience
expansive, enlightening, and thrilling. A reckless, thoughtless young person,
on the other hand, who lacks respect for the power of the situation, may find
himself or herself tumbling into an abyss with no net in sight.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Who Are The Indigo People? Part Four
Indigo homes are interesting places- often reflecting the owner's diverse tastes in books, music, dŽcor, and everything else. We span the spectrum in organizational skills, but the typical Indigo dwelling is a symphony of elegant chaos- often cluttered and packed with books and papers, but not filthy. (It's that learning thing.) Our homes won't make it into decorator's magazines, but we know where everything is, and are comfortable with it. This doesn't mean that we don't get clutter fatigue- there is a certain stage of life where accumulation has to give way to dispersal.

| | | | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
In my own spiritual transition to the Awakened state, I suffered and endured many of these changes. Annarita has thoroughly documented many of the symptoms and changes inherent in both the Awakening and the transition into the Octarine stage of Indigo life. Your mileage may vary. And if you find yourself really feeling out of whack, go see your doctor. It is better that you find you're basically OK than to permit a possible major disease like diabetes or heart disease to develop under your nose. As always, common sense, good grounding and a good sense of humor are your best tools for coping. See you on the Other Side!

| | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Accept Your Good - About AcceptanceAcceptance
can be an emotionally loaded subject. Some people get upset because they think
that they are accepting of their good, but it isn't showing up in their lives.
They want increased prosperity, more health, better relationships, and say,
"I accept it, but why isn't it here?" Other people believe that
they'll be selfish if they open themselves up for Universal good. Somehow,
they're afraid they're taking it from others. Many blocks to a better life stem
from old feelings of guilt or unworthiness. We may not be aware of the
feelings, but we get to experience the results by not accepting all that the
Universe gives us.

| | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: Incredible Journey To Immortality
The enormity of death is felt by people when they lose someone close to them. Knowledge and spirituality are often the light at the end of the tunnel in such moments of sadness. A human being who has died, is like a torch extinguished. However, the flame of his life burns in his children, friends, work, and in his ideas. He has enriched the earth on which he has walked, the rivers in which he has bathed, and the living beings with whom he has been in communion.

| | | | | Dream Dictionary Afraid: The Spirit of Easter Brings New Hope
Easter is not the remembrance of an esoteric event whose scope and significance were confined to Jesus of Nazareth. Understood in terms of its spiritual symbolism, Easter is a celebration of hope in respect to the human predicament. The Bible insists that Jesus was both human and divine. The patterns of his experience are hence relevant to the life of every human being. According to St Paul, Jesus was 'like unto us', except that he was 'sinless'. Jesus came to this world to demonstrate what every human being who is in harmony with the will of God can attain and experience.
