 | | | Dream Dictionary - Train: Concept Of Freedom Down The
AgesConcept Of Freedom Down The Ages
The 20th century has been one of the most memorable
periods in history. Imperialism, colonialism and feudalism folded up and
monarchy died a natural death, showing that however powerful a tradition may
be, it becomes redundant once its role in social evolution is over. The driving
force and the foremost objective of that process is greater freedom for
mankind.

Significance of Vesak - Buddha DayBuddha Day: The
Significance of Vesak - Buddha Day
The significance of Vesak lies
with the Buddha and his universal peace message to mankind.
As we recall the Buddha and his
Enlightenment, we are immediately reminded of the unique and most profound
knowledge and insight which arose in him on the night of his Enlightenment.
This coincided with three important events which took place, corresponding to
the three watches or periods of the night.

 | | | Dream Dictionary - Train: : The Yoga Sutras Of Patanjali - The Problem Of Union (Part
I of IV)The Tibetan Master Djwhal Kuhl has said
that the Sutra's of Patanjali will be the system used to train disciples in
mind control for the next 7,000 years.
What makes this translation special is that
Djwhal Kuhl translated the meaning behind Patanjali's writings rather than a
literal translation which is impossible from Sanskrit to English. Master Djwhal
Kuhl was able to tune into the thought form behind the words and render them
into English. Now you can use these Sutras to write your own commentaries as
you do daily seed thought meditation on each Sutra.
The Yoga Sutras Of
Patanjali translated by the Tibetan Master Djwhal Kuhl.

 | | | Dream Dictionary - Train: The Path
of Meditation - Raja YogaRaja yoga, is the
royal path of meditation. As a king maintains control over his kingdom, so can
we maintain control over our own "kingdom"- the vast territory of the
mind. In raja yoga we use our mental powers to realize the Atman through the
process of psychological control.
The basic premise of
raja yoga is that our perception of the divine Self is obscured by the
disturbances of the mind. If the mind can be made still and pure, the Self will
automatically, instantaneously, shine forth.

moon, when Buddhist all over the world celebrate the birth, enlightenment and

In Part III: 1) What are kriyas?, 2) So how do kriyas purify
my consciousness?, 3) Are these kriyas some sort of self-hypnosis or some sort
New Age phenomenon?, 4) Haven't a number of well-known teachers criticized
kriyas?, 5) Don't they say that kundalini is a force that needs control?, What
is the philosophy of siddha mahayoga?, 6) What is the precise role of the guru

 | | | Dream Dictionary - Train: Gist of Karma YogaKarma Yoga is selfless service unto humanity.
The important point is to serve humanity without any attachment or egoism. The
central teaching of the Gita is non-attachment to work. Lord Krishna says: "Work
incessantly. Your duty is to work but not expect the fruits thereof."
From "Easy Steps to Yoga"
