Denial: Ethics in Hindu Darma

The mark of Dharma is Achara or good conduct. Achara is the mark of the good. From Achara is Dharma born. Dharma enhances life. Man attains prosperity and fame, here and hereafter, through the practice of Dharma.

Good conduct is the highest Dharma. It is the root of all Tapas or austerities. Righteousness, truth and good works, power and prosperity - all originate from conduct.

Denial: Beware The Messiah Complex

Psychic Reading

One hazard and lesson of this business I learned the hard way when I first got into it, is what I have come to call the MESSIAH COMPLEX. I almost fell into it myself, and it was a rough lesson to learn. Over the years, I have learned that many other people connected to this business also suffer from it in one form or another, and it can sometimes become quite detrimental, not only in the professional field, but also in your personal life.

An excerpt from Expanding the Psychic You by Keith Atkinson.

Denial: On Ownership

In today's modern, consumer driven society, we are encouraged and persuaded constantly to 'want' and to 'own' things. We want more and more and more. In fact the word 'ownership' has practically become synonymous with material possession. The utter irony is that the things which we try to own are the vary things which it is not possible for us to own at all. As far as material possessions are concerned, we are merely custodians, guardians of whatever passes into our sphere of control. This guardianship is temporal and temporary. Our duty is to care for it, look after it as best we can whilst we have the responsibility for it.

Denial: Hindu view in Children and Parenting

Hinduism and Children: Hindus loves their children dearly. They believe that their children are gifts from gods and products of their previous karma. Many presume that their children were related to them in their past lives or were their close friends. Since a Hindu firmly believes in rebirth, he views his own life from a wider perspective that encompasses not just this life but many other lives that preceded it as well as succeed it, and his individual existence as a part of a great cosmic cycle.

Denial: The Doorway To Freedom

Enlightenment cannot enter through a closed door. Forgiveness is the doorway to enlightenment or love consciousness, for without completing forgiveness you cannot move on. It will always be the anchor that holds you back. Sooner or later you must do it for your own sake. "Unforgiveness" is a poison in your system that will rob you of your spiritual life. If you hate one soul you will never be able to love another completely. The poison in your system will pollute your experience of love with everyone and everything in life.

Denial: Evaluating a Potential Psychic

Psychic Reading - Evaluating a Potential Psychic

The use of readers and healers with mediumistic and clairvoyant abilities can provide meaningful insight into areas where we are stuck in our process. The information conveyed can range from the level of spiritual trivia (yes, Grandma is happy now that she's passed on) all the way to identifying long-standing patterns that need to be healed in order to move forward (you've ran a 2,000 year theme of betrayal in your past lives due to a major boo-boo way back there).

Denial: Relating To Others: Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

The insights we attain come through the heart. Perhaps the intellect can be a vehicle for enlightenment, but for me and millions of others, the pathway through the heart is the most healing and beautiful way to learn and grow. Relationships with friends and family are filled with learning opportunities. They come in many forms, and could be intellectually discussed for many hours, though there is only one true lesson to learn. We learn to give service unselfishly to our partners or friends and others who may knock on our doors.

Denial: New Age Spirituality Dictionary on Adept

Adept

An esoteric master. An individual highly experienced and skilled in occult wisdom or magickal craft, as a result of the study of various mystical techniques and philosophies. An initiate that has willfully achieved the highest attainment in the mastery of the occult sciences and powers. Adepts often take on students or chelas, in which case, the adept is known as a masters.

The chela must first accomplish self-denial and self-development in order to become worthy to become a chela. . The activities of adepts are diverse, being concern with the direction and guidance of the activities of the rest of mankind.

According to Theosophy, their knowledge, like their powers, far surpasses that of man, and they can control forces both in the spiritual and physical dominion, and are said to be able to prolong their lives for centuries. In alchemical lore there are always eleven adepts. The term adept was also employed by medieval magicians and alchemists to denote a master of their sciences. See Mahatma.

Denial: Ethical Culture Or The Process Of Purification

The very root and core of all moral discipline is mental purification through refraining from all evil action and the active practice of virtue. Do good at all times. Ahimsa, Satya and Brahmacharya symbolise the three processes of avoiding sin, sticking to virtue and Self-purification.

Denial: The Jaina Theory of Relativity

The Jaina Theory of Relativity

The same man is regarded simultaneously as son, father, son-in-law, father-in-law, nephew, uncle, brother, cousin, husband and so on; yet there is no contradiction owing to an understood relationship which is termed in Jainism as syadvada . The triple stream of right vision, knowledge and conduct flows in one channel, the path to liberation, moksha-marga ; it branches into hundreds of fresh streams of different aims and objects, which as a whole are called 'not-one-end', anekanta , the applied form of which is syadvada .

Denial: Encyclopedia II - Kübler-Ross model - Applicability

Kübler-Ross originally applied these stages to any form of catastrophic personal loss, such as the death of a loved-one, or even divorce. She also claimed these steps do not necessarily come in order, nor are they all experienced by all patients, though she stated a person will always experience at least two. Others have noticed that any significant personal change can follow these stages. For example, experienced criminal defense attorneys are aware that defendants who are facing stiff sentences, yet have no defenses or mitigating f ...
