Death - When death is imminent: Right Karma Brings Freedom From Fear

Fear seems to have taken possession of almost everyone in today's world and has become the biggest stress-producer. Fear lies in the sub-conscious and surfaces as and when a situation arises; of possible or imminent loss of life, property, loved ones or prestige, for example. The greatest fear of all is, of course, that of death, because all physical relationships and material possessions are lost with death. The fear of death, it is said, is worse than death itself.

Death - When death is imminent: The Ultimate Joy Is Inner Growth

Why do sad people attract sad incidences in life? Why do happy people attract happy situations in life?

Depending on what state of being we are, we attract situations. We have to focus on heightening our state of being rather than changing situations in life. If our state of being is low, then the external situation, even though sacred, will be pulled down to our level of being. For example, a poor man in a palace will make the palace into a gutter.

Death - When death is imminent: Encyclopedia - Conditional baptism

Roman Catholic dogma holds that it is a grave sin to baptize a person who has already been baptized. In case of uncertainty about whether a person has been baptized, that person may be baptized conditionally. A gallows is a frame, typically wooden, used for execution by hanging (see that article), and hence a metaphor for that capital punishment. A gallows can take several forms. In other designs, the horizontal crossbeam is supported at both ends. The infamous Tyburn gallows was triangular in plan, with three uprights and three crossbeams, allowing criminals to be execu ...

There are several different varieties of interrogation techniques referred to as waterboarding. Anointing of the Sick is one of the sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the Oriental Orthodox Churches, and is also administered in some Protestant Churches.
