Hayate - Dead or Alive. During the first Dead or Alive tournament, Hayate had been captured by DOATEC and made into a superhuman. This was done by mindcontrol and some genetic engineering via Project Epsilon. The leader of DOATEC at that time was Fame Douglas, whose organization wanted to create an ultimate superhuman. Hayate was not a participant in Dead or Alive but he had a major role in the motives of some of the others. He is the brother of Kasumi and the half-brother of Ayane who both love him very much. Kasumi Dead or Alive character - Dead or Alive. Kasumi, also known as the Kunoichi Of Destiny, is a female ninja skilled in the Mugen Tenshin Style of Ninjutsu. She was to become the 18th Master of the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Clan, but ran away in order to enter the Dead or Alive tournament. There she hoped to defeat the one responsible for crippling her brother Hayate: her uncle Raidou. By leaving the secretive ninja clan, she became a runaway shinobi. A practice of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) in which living members are baptized by proxy for people who have died without accepting the Gospel and being baptized.

The church teaches that if these dead persons then accept the LDS gospel while in Spirit Prison, they can potentially attain full salvation. This ceremony is performed only in an LDS Temple.
