It is a paradox that Gujarat, the state which gave India her greatest son, Mahatma Gandhi, should defile his memory and what he stood for with a terrible violence fuelled by communal frenzy, resulting in large scale death and destruction. Those who react in anger to the recent violent incidents in Godhra, other parts of Gujarat and neighbouring states need to consider Gandhis "talisman". Will anger and revenge help erase the distress? Anger is a negative emotion; it can neither bring peace nor put an end to the cycle of violence.

Spiritual - Theosophy
Dictionary on
Messianic Cycle
Messianic Cycle Theosophical literature gives this cycle both as a period of 2,160 years, and as a grand cycle or cosmic year -- the cycle of the precession of the equinoxes -- totaling 25,920 years. This grand cycle is one of the fundamental and most important of the great periods of cosmic history and evolution. The Messianic cycle is therefore a recurrent time period, at whose opening (or close) a new spiritual and intellectual effort is made publicly by the Great Brotherhood, but strictly in accordance with nature's own cyclic vital periods or life-pulse.

| | | | Cycle: Indigo Passages and Purposes
The Indigo life is no bed of roses. If you have read some of the particular traits of Indigo people, you have learned that we have quite a bit stacked against us in our early lives. In fact, we are classic late bloomers, and because of this, Indigo youth have a very high amount of difficulty assimilating into the mainstream. This is mostly because the mainstream caters to the average mind and intellect, and most Indigos are far from average. This can result in the flaring of depression, and also the abuse of alcohol and drugs. Sometimes it leads to suicide. Misdiagnosis of ADD and other 'new age' illnesses add to the confusion, and the youngster is often drugged into submission at a point of life where they need to develop their minds the most.

| | | | Cycle: Dharma was Killed In Gujarat
Though the term Hindu is not of indigenous origin, I am proud to consider myself a Hindu. That pride has been deeply hurt by what others using that label have done in Gujarat. What they did was typically un-Hindu, even anti-Hindu. What distinguishes the Hindu culture, philosophy and outlook on life from all other religions, faiths and civilisational traditions? In Hinduism alone you are able to say '' Brahmasmi ’’ (I am God) and to your neighbour, '' Tattvamasi ’’ (You are the truth).

Theosophy
Occultism Mysticism Dictionary on Round
A
Theosophical definition of Round :
Round The doctrine concerning our planetary chain commonly called that of the seven rounds means that the life cycle or life-wave begins its evolutionary course on globe A, the first of the series of seven (or ten) globes; then, completing its cycles there, runs down to globe B, and then to globe C, and then to globe D, our earth; and then, on the ascending arc, to globe E, then to globe F, and then to globe G. These are the manifest seven globes of the planetary chain. This is one planetary round. After the planetary round there ensues a planetary or chain nirvana, until the second round begins in the same way, but in a more "advanced" degree of evolution than was the first round. A globe round is one of the seven passages of a life-wave during its planetary round, on any one (and therefore on and through each) of the globes. When the life-wave has passed through globe D, for instance, and ends its cycles on globe D, this is the globe round of globe D for that particular planetary round; and so with all the globes respectively. Seven root-races make one globe round. There are seven globe rounds therefore (one globe round for each of the seven globes) in each planetary round. Seven planetary rounds equal one kalpa or manvantara or Day of Brahma. When seven planetary rounds have been accomplished, which is as much as saying forty-nine globe rounds (or globe manvantaras), there ensues a still higher nirvana than that occurring between globes G and A after each planetary round. This higher nirvana is coincident with what is called a pralaya of that planetary chain, which pralaya lasts until the cycle again returns for a new planetary chain to form, containing the same hosts of living beings as on the preceding chain, and which are now destined to enter upon the new planetary chain, but on and in a higher series of planes or worlds than in the preceding one. When seven such planetary chains with their various kalpas or manvantaras have passed away, this sevenfold grand cycle is one solar manvantara, and then the solar system sinks into the solar or cosmic pralaya. There are outer rounds and inner rounds. An inner round comprises the passage of the life-wave in any one planetary chain from globe A to globe G once around, and this takes place seven times in a planetary manvantara. The outer round comprises the passage of the entirety of a life-wave of a planetary chain along the circulations of the solar system, from one of the seven sacred planets to another; and this for seven (or ten) times. There is another aspect of the teaching concerning the outer rounds which cannot be elucidated here.

Natural
Health Therapy Dictionary on Biorhythms
BIORHYTHMS: According to the principle of biorhythms, life is a series of progressive 'ups' and 'downs'. - The physical cycle includes resistance to disease, strength, and coordination.
- The emotional includes sensitivity, mood, perceptions, and mental balance, and the
- intellectual affects memory, alertness, and logic.
Because the cycles are of varying length, they rarely overlap. For example, while the intellectual cycle may be peaking, the emotional cycle may be in decline, and the physical cycle a variant somewhere in between. The 'highs' of the cycles are times of maximum effectiveness, and tend to produce positive thoughts and moods, while the 'lows' are times of negativity and possible risk--because one is prone at these times to make errors of judgment.

| | | | Cycle: Hinduism and the paths of liberationHinduism
and the paths of liberation
According to Hinduism, liberation does not mean dying and going to
heaven. Heavenly life is as desirable or undesirable as earthly life because in
the ultimate sense, heavenly life is also limited and transient, thought
compared to earthly life it may be longer and more intense. True liberation
means liberation of the individual soul from the cycle of births and deaths,
from the sense of duality and separation, and union with Brahman, the Supreme
Soul.

| | | | Cycle: Hindu view on Science, Knowledge and EducationHindu
view on Science, Knowledge and Education
Hindu scriptures recognize two types of knowledge: the lower
knowledge and the higher knowledge. Knowledge of the rites and rituals and
scholarly study of scriptures is considered to be lower knowledge, while higher
knowledge is the knowledge of Atman and Brahman gained through personal
experience or self realization. Of the two, the Higher Knowledge alone is true,
because it liberates the individuals from the cycle of births and deaths.

| | | | Cycle: Brahmagyan, Mother Of All Knowledge
We are in reality one with God, but the reflection makes us seem many. The reflection must vanish if we are to identify ourselves with our true Divine nature. What is the nature of this unchangeable Brahman ? He cannot be seen, cannot be sensed. Yet he is the Absolute - from whom everything comes. Like the spokes of a wheel that radiate from the hub, all creation radiates from Him.
