Cube is a 1997 Canadian sci-fi movie directed by Vincenzo Natali. Seven people, who are complete strangers to each other, awaken inside a maze of cubes with no memory of how they got there. The only apparent practical purpose of the cube puzzle seems to be to study human psychology under extreme stress. This also appears to be the subject of the movie.
