Interpretation Crossroads
Crossroads in the dreams represent your worries and fears about taking decisions at this turning point in your life. If you are standing at a crossroad, it is time to take a decision which will affect your future and you cannot postpone it any more. It is very important to remember which road you chose. Is it a straight road or winding? Did it go to the south, north, west or east?

 | | | Crossroads: Encyclopedia II - First French Empire - OriginsNapoleon Bonaparte was approached by one of a member of the Directory, Sieyès, seeking his support for a coup to overthrow the constitution. The plot included Bonaparte's brother Lucien, then serving as speaker of the Council of Five Hundred, Roger Ducos, another Director, and Talleyrand. On 9 November (18 Brumaire), and the following day, troops led by Bonaparte seized control and dispersed the legislative councils, leaving a rump to name Bonaparte, Sieyès, and Ducos as provisional Consuls to administer the government. Although Sie ...

 | | | Crossroads: Encyclopedia II - Battle of Cold Harbor - Battle
Battle of Cold Harbor - Leadup.
The battle began on May 31, 1864, when Union cavalry under Maj. Gen. Philip H. Sheridan occupied the crucial crossroads of Old Cold Harbor, 10 miles (16 km) from the Confederate capital of Richmond. By outflanking Lee's army three separate times, including twice after battles that were actually Confederate tactical victories, they stood at the gates of Richmond. Grant hoped that one more attack might finally break the outnumbered Army of N ...

 | | | Crossroads: Explode Spiritual Bomb of Compassion
For Gandhi, non-violence meant an overflowing love for all humanity, a way of life that emanated from the very marrow of his being. But for many of his followers, non-violence was simply a political strategy, a tactic for winning India's independence from Britain. The more earnestly Gandhi pursued his religious beliefs, the deeper his love for humanity grew. This love made it all the more impossible for him to ignore the political realities that shaped people's lives. At the same time, contact with these political realities strengthened his conviction that nothing is more essential than the love for humanity that religious faith can inspire. He walked the middle way.

 | | | Crossroads: War and Peace
The preamble to the United Nations Charter sums up the existential dilemma of today: "Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that defences of peace must be constructed". In a land where history had sought to be sketched in an arc from Gautama to Gandhi, it is appropriate reflect on such defences and revive them today when war and terrorism have cast their shadow on the world.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Creepin' On Ah Come Up.
Their first release on Ruthless Records, Creepin On Ah Come Up (EP) was released in June 1994. After a slow start that saw the album's success limited to within the gangsta rap scene, it broke through to the mainstream with the release of the singles "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" and "Foe Tha Luv Of $", the second of which featured a guest rap by Eazy-E. Recorded during the "golden age" of West Coast rap music, the album's production draws heavily upon it, with beats supplied by Yella of NWA fame, Rhythm D and newco ...

 | | | Crossroads: Encyclopedia II - Ancient Rome - History
Ancient Rome - Monarchy.
The city of Rome grew from settlements around a ford on the river Tiber, a crossroads of traffic and trade. According to archaeological evidence, the village of Rome was probably founded sometime in the 9th century BC by members of two central Italian tribes, the Latins and the Sabines, on the Palatine and Quirinal Hills. The Etruscans, who had previously settled to the north in Etruria, seem to have established political control in the region by the late 7th century BC. The Etruscans app ...

It is the sign of all things pertaining to Hermes, Mercury or Thoth, that is, of intercourse between differing segments of reality or society and the intellect or intelligence: writing, communications media, bohemia, detection, medicine, fashion, crossroads, markets, theaters, dens of thieves, traveling, etc. Its element, of course, is air and its animal sometimes ascribed to the monkey (Thoth, the babboon-headed). Well-known Geminians include: Mesmer, Elsa Maxwell, Bob Dylan, Emerson, Bennett Cerf, Gucci, Duchess of Windsor, Pauline Kael, Escher, Stravinsky, Pascal, Judy Garland, Velikovsky, Peter the Great, Allen Ginsberg, Josephine Baker, Christine Jorgensen, Bob Hope, Herman Wouk, Dante, Arthur Conan Doyle, Isadora Duncan, Dionne Quintuplets, Marilyn Monroe, Marquis de Sade, Sartre, Jefferson Davis.
