 | | | Creator: Encyclopedia II - Amun - CreatorGradually, as god of air, he came to be associated with the breath of life, which created the ba, particularly in Thebes. By the First Intermediate Period this had led to him being thought of, in these areas, as the creator god, titled father of the gods, preceding the Ogdoad, although also part of it. As he became more significant, he was assigned a wife (Amunet being his own female aspect, more than a distinct wife), and since he was the creator, his wife was considered the divine mother from which the cosmos emerged, who in the areas where Amun was wo ...

Myths and The Story of LifeCreation Myths and The Story of Life
Three hundred years ago in the cold,
rocky, wind swept recesses of the North Atlantic, our ancestors' way of life
was in its twilight.
A steady insurgence from powerful
tribes had driven our tiny clan to the verge of extinction. Our largely
unconscious adoption of attractive filaments from these cultures had left us
struggling for what remained of our identity. But was that such a tragedy?
Would the world really be worse off if the Celts were lost into oblivion?
Wouldn't it be better if we were all the same?

 | | | Creator: To Love, Get Down To The Basics
No religion in this world preaches violence; yet down the ages horrible killings have taken place in the name of religion. Why? There is no simple answer to this question. Perception definitely has a role in this. The fault somehow always seems to lie with the other religion. Could it be that we perceive other ideologies with bias or ignorance? Perhaps this explanation would have made sense in the dark ages when distance made communication very difficult. Today, it's different - there is free flow of information. There is a great deal of intermingling and intercourse between individuals and communities across the world. Outwardly there appears to be no reason for any acrimony to exist on the basis of one's faith, yet not only does irascibility exist, it is getting to be more pronounced.

Alternative
Health Dictionary on Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu (jin shin jitsu): Subject of The Touch of Healing: Energizing Body, Mind, and Spirit with the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu (Bantam Books, 1997). Jin Shin Jyutsu is a non-massage form of shiatsu developed by Jiro Murai in Japan. It uses only 26 pressure points, termed energy locks. According to its theory, fatigue, tension, or illness can trap energy in these safety energy locks. The design of Jin Shin Jyutsu is to harmonize the flow of energy through the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu involves either: (a) prolonged, gentle, manual pressing of these points; or (b) movements of the practitioner's hands over such areas without contact. The practitioner's hands function like booster cables. Jin shin jyutsu literally means the creator's art through knowing and compassionate man.

 | | | Creator: Qur'an Revealed During RamzanQuran - Koran: Qur'an
Revealed During Ramzan
Prophet Muhammad would often sit
alone in the cave of Hira, near Mecca, to pray and meditate, asking the Creator
of the Heavens and earth for answers to the questions that surged through his
mind. What is man's true role in life?
What does the Lord require of us?
From where does man come, and where will he go after death? The Prophet would
meditate alone, surrounded by nature, seeking answers to all these profound
questions.

 | | | Creator: The Four Castes in HinduismIn Purusha-Sukta
of the Rig-Veda, there is reference to the division of Hindu society into four
classes. It is described there that the Brahmanas came out of the face of the
Lord, the Creator, Kshatriyas from His arms, Vaisyas from His thighs, and the
Sudras from His feet.

 | | | Creator: Major Sects of HinduismHindu Sects
Saivism,
Vaishnavism and Shaktism are considered to be the
major sects of Hinduism. Followers of Saivism worship Lord Siva as their chief
deity and regard him as Iswara, the Supreme Brahman. They wear a mark of three
horizontal stripes on their foreheads. Followers of Vaishnavism worship Lord Vishnu
as the Supreme Creator and wear a U shaped mark on the forehead with a long
stripe between the two arms of U. The followers of Shakti consider the Mother
Goddess as the Universal Self and creator of all.

in DepthTantra
Tantra is
the state of feeling that there is no other person that is not ourselves.
Tantra is the balance of the vibrant yin-yang energy. When we fully feel these
complementary energies balanced within us, we feel like a whole and complete
person-without the compulsory idea that we need another person to make us feel
complete.

 | | | Creator: Fasting is
Food for the SoulSpiritual Fasting: Fasting
is Food for the Soul
The followers of the Baha'i faith are
on a 19-day fast from March 2 to March 20. In this context, it would be
instructive to look at the significance of fasting in all faiths. Fasting may
assume different forms across different belief systems but is an integral
feature of humanity's common spiritual heritage.
We must ask ourselves why God wants us to abstain from
food and drink. Obviously, as the all-loving creator, He would derive no
pleasure from the mere act of making his creatures endure hunger and thirst for
a specified period. We may as well go a little further and ask ourselves why we
have spiritual laws at all.
