Creativity Dictionary: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Ax

Ax

An ax is generally associated with destruction. We use it to break things up, and in popular horror movies it is used to kill people. The ax can also be used to carve and create art, furniture or other tools. If your dream was violent, then you may be experiencing frustration, anger and hostility. If there was no violence in your dream, then the ax may be positively interpreted as a symbol of productivity and creativity. Either way, an ax is a powerful tool, and as a dream symbol it may be saying something about your personal power and its expression.

Creativity Dictionary: Mysticism Magick Dictionary on CHAOS PREDICTION

CHAOS PREDICTION

Mathematical Chaos Prediction is the next step after Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, now used partly (in ignorance) by computers, stockbrokers and oil-dowsers. If the wrong people get hold of this key they will be able to control all random factors in the world to their advantage. James P. Crutchfield say, "Innate creativity may have an underlying chaotic process that selectively amplifies small fluctuations." The amplification of small fluctuations (characteristic of Chaos) and its bibranching can be examined by values of growth factors at which bifurcations take place using "Feigenbaum's Number": 4,669.

Its whole number factors are 7, 23, 29, 161, 203 and 667. Note that 23 is already claimed by R.A. Wilson as the "number of synchronicities" and 7 is the mystical number par excellence, the "Holy Merkabah", the zodiacal sign of Cancer. 29 = Hebrew Dacha, "Crushed". Further, from A.C.'s 777: 161 is the Heavenly Man or Exalted Man, the "Congregation of the Eternal", 203 = Initials of the Trinity: dead; feather: created; ambush: foreign; esoteric. 667 = "oil for lighting". It is fortunate that 4 + 6 + 6 + 9 = 7. Thank Gods, it doesn't add up to One! Then we would be in trouble!

Creativity Dictionary: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Rain

Rain

Interpretation is contingent on your current circumstances as well as the kind of rain that is falling. Rain naturally cleans, refreshes, and "provides life-giving moisture." Depending on the dreamer it could suggest a period of renewal and fertility (reproduction or creativity). However, dark clouds and a heavy downpour indicate feelings of isolation and helplessness. On the other hand, the heavy downpour could represent unconscious materials and emotions attempting to enter the dreamer's conscious mind.

Creativity Dictionary: Hindu - Hinduism Dictionary on Sivaloka

Sivaloka: "World of Siva," and of the Gods and highly evolved souls.

The causal plane, also called Karanaloka, existing deep within the Antarloka at a higher level of vibration, it is a world of superconsciousness and extremely refined energy. It is the plane of creativity and intuition, the quantum level of the universe, where souls exists in self-effulgent bodies made of actinic particles of light. It is here that God and Gods move and lovingly guide the evolution of all the worlds and shed their ever-flowing grace. Its vibratory rate is that of the vishuddha, ajna and sahasrara chakras and those above.

Creativity Dictionary: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Witch

Witch

The witch in your dream could represent evil and ugliness or something more desirable such as enchantment. The word witch is usually used to describe a mean and heartless person, and in your dream you may be making associations in regard to yourself or someone else that fits that description. A witch could also represent power, magic, and goodness. "White magic" is as popular and culturally significant as darker witchcraft. However, whether good or evil, the witch always tries to defy natural law and uses a short cut to accomplish a task. Ask yourself questions about the general message in the dream; is it about revealing negative characteristics or about solving your problems and getting what you want out of life by using shortcuts? The most positive connotation of this dream could be that it encourages you to solve difficulties by using creativity and intuition and brings you closer to finding powerful and magical parts of yourself.

Creativity Dictionary: Hindu - Hinduism Dictionary on Shuddhashuddha tattvas

The shuddhashuddha tattvas: Actinodic, or spiritual-magnetic, energy. The seven tattvas from maya to purusha make up the shuddhashuddha (pureimpure) realm.

1.    maya tattva: mirific energy, the "material" cause of the "impure sphere." The category of maya brings into being as its immediate aids the following five tattvas, known as the "five sheaths," pancha kanchuka, of the individual soul, purusha. Collectively they make up the vijnanamaya kosha, or mental body.

  1. kala tattva: the phenomenon of time, which divides all experience into past, present and future.
  2. niyati tattva: karmic destiny; necessity; order; law of cause and effect; restraint.
  3. kala tattva: creativity, aptitude, the power which draws the soul toward spiritual knowledge. Its energy partially removes the veil of anava which clouds the inherent powers of the soul.
  4. vidya tattva: limited knowledge, the power which gives the soul practical knowledge in accord with its present life experiences.
  5. raga tattva: attachment, the arousal of desire, without which no experience of the objective world is possible.
  6. purusha tattva: soul identity; soul connected with subjectivity. Through identification with the five above "sheaths," the soul, atman, becomes a purusha, or bound soul, capable of experiencing the higher Antarloka as a limited individual. This fivefold sheath is called the pancha kanchuka, or vijnanamaya kosha (mental body).

Creativity Dictionary: Alternative Health Dictionary II on Chakra System

Chakra System

The chakras are the bodies centres of energy and vital to the well being of the whole person. They are the energy centres through which our spiritual and emotional energies flow.

The word ‘Chakra’ is taken from Hindi and means ‘wheel of energy’ There are seven chakras or energy centres within the body. Each Chakra has certain characteristics and influences a different aspect of the personality. The correct flow of energies through the chakras is vital for health. When the flow of Prana, or energy is blocked, disease results.

The Base Chakra, Mooladhara

This chakra controls the basic human survival instincts and provides an essential ‘grounding’. Our most basic human instincts originate from this Chakra.

The Sacral Chakra, Swadisthan Manipura

This is linked to sexuality and reproductive capacity.

The Solar Plexus, Nabhi

Creativity Dictionary: Ayurveda Ayurvedic Dictionary on Dosha Imbalances

Doshic Imbalances

Any imbalance in the doshas is likely to have a negative effect on your mind and emotions. If in excess you are more likely to display negative energy of a quality associated with it. The predominant dosha of your constitution becoming in excess more easily than the others, you will tend to experience its negative aspects more than the others.

Negative emotions aggravate the dosha associated with them. For example, high kapha may mean you are more possessive; but possessiveness in turn increases kapha even more. The way to break this vicious circle is to pacify the aggravated dosha.

Increased consciousness of Ayurveda and your personal constitution will now enable you to rate the qualities of your moods as V, P, and / or K. Checked as frequently as on a daily basis, this is a very useful way to monitor even small changes in a dosha, and take steps to restore the balance sooner than later. Relate the qualities of your moods to the qualities in other aspects of your life. Since "like increases like" if you are impatient or critical (pitta), check if you have eaten pitta-genic foods or been exposed to pitta-provoking experiences.

Excess Vata leads to:

·  Nervousness

·  Moodiness

·  Anxiety

·  Loss of consciousness

·  Fear

·  Impairment of sensory functions

·  Confusion

·  Tremors in Limbs

·  Grief

·  Constipation

·  Sadness

·  Insomnia

·  Insecurity

·  Dry & rough skin

·  Lack of integrity

·  Low vitality

·  Loss of creativity

·  Lack of communication

With decreased Vata giving rise to:

·  Lethargy

·  Nausea

·  Depression

·  Irregularity in gastric activity

In case of excess Pitta one suffers from:

·  Ambition

·  Hate

·  Anger

·  Jealously

·  Envy

·  Judgemental or critical tendencies

·  Fear of Failure

·  Lack of discernment

·  Snappy speech and actions

·  Pride

·  Skepticism

·  Burning sensations

·  Excessive thirst

·  Craving for cold

·  Loss of sleep

·  Fever

·  Frustration

While decreased Pitta results in:

·  Indigestion

·  Loss of luster in the skin

·  Abnormal loss of body heat

·  Irregular bowel movements.

Aggravated Kapha in turn causes:

·  Boredom

·  Lack of interest

·  Carelessness

·  Secretions from the mouth

·  Lack of compassion

·  Lethargy

·  Greed

·  Excessive sleep

·  Feeling lack of support or love

·  Improper digestive function

·  Obsessive behavior

·  Obesity

·  Unkindness

·  Nausea

And decreased Kapha gives way to:

·  Thirst

·  Cramps

·  Giddiness

·  Body aches

·  Dryness of mouth

Creativity Dictionary: Massage Bodywork Dictionary on HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK

HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK

Developed by Dr. Stanislov Grof, a psychiatrist working with people in non-ordinary states of consciousness, and by Christina Grof, a transpersonal teacher, this is a simple, yet powerful technique for self-exploration and healing based on combined insights from modern consciousness research, depth psychology, and perennial spiritual practices.

The method activates non-ordinary states of consciousness which mobilize the spontaneous healing potential of the psyche. Sustained effective breathing, evocative music, focused energy work, and mandala drawing are components of this subjective journey.

Holotropic literally means moving toward wholeness. Virtually all ancient and native traditions recognize the psychological and spiritual healing potential of states of consciousness that differ from what we call ordinary.

Holotropic Breathwork is a powerful method of self-exploration and healing. This work can be useful for artists wishing to facilitate their creativity, persons seeking a deep level of healing, those seeking to explore their inner self and/or the transpersonal dimensions, and it can lead to a spiritual opening and transformation.
